This dress was made in Feb. and March of 2022 but worn to my first costuming meet-up at the NGA in October of 2022. It was so lovely meeting the DC costuming community!

This. Is. FABULOUS! You have perfectly illustrated how to think creatively to problem-solve unclear directions and missing details. When you said you were "winging it" I automatically thought, "Ah, the Rachel Maksy-ing Method of skirt construction!" The embroidery down the front couldn't be any more centered or perfect. The whole ensemble (that beret!) is AWESOME. Well done!!!
