handstands alone is challenging on rings ,your hspu's on it takes an insane amount of strength!well done man ,keep it up!

Bruh mad respect to u for pulling a handstand pushup on rings without your feet being placed on the string for balance like most athletes do know this is a true ring handstand pushup

Nothing wrong with resting your feet against the ropes , even in gymnastic training there is a trainer who is assisting you sometimes with balance until you learn how to do it by your self , I tried those push ups today fist time and I managed 4 with resting my feet against the ropes , so trick is to learn how to stay upright without using a ropes as support and that wan't happen on first attempt , It takes practice and Im only 61 year old young :) so I have plenty of time to practice , Your body will adapt it is a fine balancing act , nothing to do with brute strength but strong inner core I believe

Hey Jake, your videos are great, keep it up! One question: You said you're doing push-ups on your knuckles because your wrists are very inflexible. How do you go about doing a planche then? Do you turn your fingers backwards, or do you just avoid doing them altogether on the floor?

How do you bench with bad wrist? I have a bad wrist so I do push ups with my fists but can't bench with fists obviously. Have any tips?

+Ethan Gonzalez I just don't let my wrist bend back when I bench? Try and squeeze the bar and keep my knuckles up. It used to hurt but as long as they don't bend back it's ok. Make sense?

How come your wrists are so inflexible, I would have thought it would be a strong and flexible aria for any gymnasts? Have you tried hitting punch bags, also helps with loosening shoulders

would you say that most male gymnasts work out with weights? i've been reading how gymnasts don't lift and get their strength and conditioning purely from body weight exercises + training on the various gymnastics apparatuses. i know that you definitely incorporate weight training into your training, is this common practice?

Hey man, Great Videos! I was wondering, have you ever seen any tall guys get into gymnastics, and if so (or not) how difficult was it or do you think it would be? I notice from your training you don't really do high intensity training. Running, rowing, etc. why don't you do something like crossfit to help with your gymnastics to get overall more fit rather than bodybuilding ? Pls keep up the videos!

Would love to see you improve those sloppy (because kicked) muscle ups. Dont need that momentum (or if you do, you are not strong enough or lack the skill) What gives?
