Plus...I don't know ANYONE who would rather not receive a hand-written note of love, congratulation, sympathy or just a simple greeting saying, "I'm thinking of you.." than an e-mail, e-card, or a (shudder) text! Real notes and cards can be held in your hands and cherished. My long-gone grandma's notes to me are precious; they even carry the scent of her perfume, the comics she cut out to share with me, the photos & rose petals. No e-mail can EVER replace her lovely hand-written letters.

In 20 years this may become a moot point- at least for young people. American school districts are discussing dropping the requirement that kids learn cursive handwriting. They say it is becoming obsolete because of all the keyboarding devices- pc's, tablets, i-phones etc. Personally, I think it would be a huge mistake! We all have calculators now, but we still insist that kids learn basic mathematics. Cursive writing stimulates creative parts of the mind and is important for self expression.
I don't write like that but I'm always worried when people are looking at me, I'm always worried that something is wrong with me. But I deffs don't hurt someone first to make sure they don't hurt me.
I have yet to see any g's or y'd or capital I's like mine except the capital I is like Zsa Zsa Gabor. What the hey? I've seen a capital I just a big zero.
I think people who are afraid of large d's might be a little more paranoid than people who like to wright big d's. Do people still take this handwriting crap seriously? Crazy people…. lol.
This is such crap. A dear girlfriend has the most loopy, swirly, large lettered handwriting. None of these personality traits are her. She just has GORGEOUS handwriting. I think these guys over-think this. Ridiculous.
