Manufacturers E Archery also have a Handy Press instruction video on their web site. Certainly seems a big improvement over previous offerings with all their cords and straps. Have one coming from Merlin. Nice indeed.
I have some criticisms... The bow should be wound down close to minimum poundage before you use any bow press, as per most bow manufacturer’s instructions. If you did that, it should have been discussed. The bow would be best in a bow vise, to put the bow in a position that you are able to use the press with you mostly out of the way... so that if an accident happens, your handy bow press doesn’t fly off and wrap around your head or neck. Not wild about the fact that there is no discussion of safety or risk outside of the past parallel limb issue. Pressing a bow has serious inherent risks, and I for one don’t feel it should be tackled by anyone that saw this video as their first exposure to the task. Not bad as far as “instructions” go. However it needs to go somewhat farther.
