What I like the most about this is that after Hange dies, we get absolute confirmation of an afterlife. It lessens the pain of every death, even if only slightly, knowing that there is a place for them after and that they’re watching over their loved ones

This means there is a chance Ymri can be reunited with Historia when Historia dies and get the marriage they deserve. Like Jack and Rose in Titanic. Yeah I'm still not over Ymir's death, and she never got to tell Historia a goodbye.

Man normally when I watch death scenes over and over I stop crying and getting emotional, but I’ve watched Hange’s death over and over and over and it makes me cry everytime. One of the most powerful death scenes I’ve ever witnessed; the stakes, the music, the animation, the determination, the incineration and the crescendo of the music just as the plane takes off, everyone bawling their eyes out (it even got to Reiner and Peke as you can see, Reiner is just staring at the ground and Peke face is in shadow), and we can’t forget the voice acting. Just a phenomenal, memorable scene for a wonderful character. She wasn’t the best commander, but she was incredibly smart, quirky and light hearted when she needed to be and stern when she needed to be, and just someone who truly loved science and the titans. Rest in Peace Hange, hope you’re drinking some ale and shootin the shit with Erwin, Moblit, Miche, and everyone else in PATHS and having a good time.

Something i love is that at the end, her fascination of titans shows one last time Throughout all of season 4 we see how shes not the same energetic crazy titan lover we once knew, she was cold and stoic most of the time Im glad we saw OUR hange just one last time

This was one of the only times I’ve cried watching this series (only other times I can remember is Armin’s near-death and Grisha apologizing to Zeke). But not because Hange died, it was seeing Erwin again. Knowing that they can all rest after all they’ve been through, and they’re all together again. I cry every time I watch this scene.

Wait did they cut out that weird shot of him that looked angry and really out of place??? YES I hated that. To be honest, her scene with Levi lacked something for me and hearing official reports explain they intentionally wanted to focus more on the action was disappointing. I didn't feel sad enough. I got more emotional seeing gifs of this scene instead of the actual scene
