Worst times to buy propane are winter and spring/early summer. Everyone is wanting propane for heat or grilling out. Buy in late summer or fall for cheapest rates.
I live in Alaska and they just stoped the prepay propane cause tweakers were making drugs with them, now i have 4 propane tanks i switch through for my furnace
A propane tank most certainly did NOT blow up my folks house, this was a misremembering. “One of those blew my aunt and uncles house apart, they never rebuilt just continued living in their RV, which they were away in when it blew, but still, wild”
@@sidehustlesurvivalist Im realizing I just related an unverified anecdote from my family, my mom just said she thought it was the water heater. In the interest of truth I will get back to you after asking my family about it.
@@sidehustlesurvivalist NO INDEED, the propane tank DID NOT fault, they had a new stove that leaked and filled up the house. I feel like a jackass for this one, I ought to have checked first before coming here and saying an actual nontruth. I probably did a little damage there.
@@BoomBoom-ym5oy my grandparents have had 3 of these tanks on their property for decades with no issue. Just out in the open same as this guy. Like he said, pretty indestructible under normal circumstances. Just don’t go shooting at it or something and you’ll be good.
