Not to mention that his best friends youngin stayed with him to make sure hank stayed as lucid as possible. His brain was exposed and that lil kept hank talkin. That is brave and tough as fuck. He saved the man for sure. But hank.. That's the toughest m f period. He stayed alive while his friend descended 450 ft and then try to find him. He was amazed that hank will still alive !!! Then hank kept living the whole time it.took to get to phone and call for a chopper to stat. Flight to him .. And he still kept on stubbornly kept on living. Refused to let the devil win... The he had to get in the chopper and fly to the nearest hospital that had the best trama unit.. !!!! And he flipped death off and said.. I can make this helicopter drop from the sky!! And I still won't Die!!!!!!! He was.a miracle straight from the palm of God's hand!!! He stayed alive after tumbling 450 ft down. Breaking his body literally!! He hit his head on rock that jutted out to a sharp point and yep u said it. Smashed his skull. Brain hangin out. His eye was hanging out of its socket. And yeah he had his whole jaw basically destroyed!! He had it remade. His left cheek is fake cake teeth. Plates in his 4head .. Plastic actually!! Split.His face from his chin up his nose .. Thru. His 4head.. Up the side of his skull .. That's how the eye was hanging out. All that had to be created!!! Lots of scaring around the eye. That is why he always wears sunglasses.. He hates the way it looks.. He had around 10 reconstruction surgeries .. Light probably hurt too .. Every other scar u couldn't see them really just the eye. Awww his mug shot. That and his nose are the only noticeable after all the surgery. At first his jaw would go crooked when he sang or smiled! He is hardcore!! He stayed alive like that for several hours.. He was probably in shock so the pain may have been dulled maybe.. But even half of that kinda pain would cow, 🐄 anybody.. Everyone!!!!
Kind of parallels Hank Sr’s spina bifida. Both conditions isolated them, from which they both kind of coccooned and emerged as artists, but continued to cause them chronic pain. Of course Jr was already recording priorto accident, but he came out as authentic self imo

Wished I could've been there, how versatile is he, I've watche him play 13 instruments b 4 , & I'm sure he can play a lot more, like the jus harp? Etc.
