Samara making it in KATSEYE would have gotten more fans for KATSEYE than Hannah anyway. Brazil love female popstars. Be it Madonna, Taylor Swift or any other pop star. For one of their own they would've started streaming farms lol. Brazil is one of the biggest music markets, they have artists who make it into the BB hot 100 without even singing in English with millions & billions of streams. Every new KATSEYE song would've debuted with atleast a #10 placement on BB hot 100 with her in the group just because of the Brazilian stans. Samara also had very good vocals, she outsings Hannah anyday. Samara making it in would've been more beneficial for KATSEYE than Hannah. Also Hannah would have to compete with other Korean participants namely Nayoung (better singer than her), Yoonchae (better dancer than her). So a reserved spot for her doesn't even make sense. Hannah also doesn't have anything over the top on the members of KATSEYE to be getting a spot. Sophia & Lara would eat her up in vocals, Daniela and Megan in dance. Manon, Yoonchae, Daniela have better visuals than her. All of KATSEYE's girl beats her by a margin in stage presence. The only thing she would've had over them is Popularity because of her RU-vid presence.

then you are foolish to think that , basically these shows are performative , everything is done beforehand rest they weight the popularity and finalise their already made lineup (with maybe changes of one or two contestants)

They have chosen the best lineup so far based on top skills and voting, so your thoughts only apply to rigged shows like 'Are You Next,' not Dream Academy. Chill. As for her, she just got a chance to participate in DA with 20 other girls who were selected, not for Katseye.
