The only time I cried in the whole series is when they had the montage back to that summer with Zach and Hannah being in love. Then it went back to his face in court and I realized what he had actually lost.

Everyone knows that if clay had stayed for the summer, Zach would’ve stayed a virgin. It was really clay and Hannah that were in love but they were too afraid to admit their feelings for one another. Hannah also said on the tapes that she didn’t deserve to be with a guy like clay and that she would’ve ruined him. She imagined a happy future with him. Clay was even listed twice on her on reasons why she shouldn’t kill herself. She thought they would’ve been together if she didn’t commit suicide
Let's face it, the rare moments when Zach really smiled were when he was with Hannah... I think he misses her a lot more than he wants to show.. I think he really loved her but he doesn't trust himself enough :(
Yes he loved her so much but couldn't admit it or fight for it what was his nature. I wish they stayed together a little bit longer so that they could find out a way to fight
I haven't watched the full season of 2 yet so I unable to understand what things he did. But as far I saw I could see it in his face after trial how empty he felt and how much he regrets for not admitting his love for her. 😢Its really sad to see things could have been great if you just have taken a step.

It's like Zach and Hannah will never be together eventhough they had feelings for each other because of people around them. You can see it in their eyes every time they had an eye contact.

alexandria hey he was wrong for not defending her yeah, he made a mistake there’s no argument there. but she’s the one that wanted to hide their relationship not him. He’s a good hearted guy deep down clearly from his actions after that.
I really feel like Zach would write her compliments but then get nervous and take them back out. I guess he was the only one that wrote her compliments.

That's so true cause the slut-shaming rumors about Hannah and the picture of her underwear being spread around the school wouldn't have happened at all or Alex didn't made that list which costed her friendship with Jessica, guys like Marcus and Bryce didn't make a move on her and so on. I really did like this pairing, but having their relationship come after the note his tape was about made no sense. I feel like the note would have been so much more impactful if it had come after their relationship. It would have made more sense why she was so devastated about it and why she gave him a tape. Because them having fixed what had gone wrong during the school year doesn't make sense why he got a tape in the first place.
