This band is the greatest and most underrated band ever! 33 years after I discovered who they were I love them still! Mike is still a pretty one too ;)
I couldn't agree more. I really wish that instead of Razzle dying that he could have lived and that Motley would have taken them on the road in 1985. That would have been AMAZING. Rock and roll really lost something special.
That's true, but I'd say the same about Mike too. One great guitarist and songwriter, one bad-ass frontman. Not to diss the others, they were a tight package.
God it hurts to watch this. I just shared this video with one of my long time collaborators and it got me to thinking about how different ( and much better in my opinion ) things in NYC and LA might have been had these guys been able to keep rolling along. This is one of the best live versions of a great recorded song ( and album ) I've ever heard. And I DO NOT hand that out lightly. These guys could fvcking play. And Mike and Andy are so quintessential at what they do, you can't ask for, create, or even clone anything better if you tried.
Man Andy is a fuckin great guitar player, nails that solo chuck berry style LP Black Beauty hanging loose, still hits every single note with very loose playing, Hanoi definitely should’ve been bigger
The Cosmic Turd? That's what they call Andy? I mean, it's probably true, but odd to brag about. Rediscovered these guys after decades. Good to see Sam, Michael, and Nasty are actually good people still and making music.
