That’s how the industry works. Steal the magic of someone else and copy it. Some people you just can’t copy or capture their essence because it’s an energy, frequency and vibration thing. Some people make you feel things you’ve never felt before and that can’t be harnessed by anyone else.
@@me6271 you do realize that Razzle died in a car accident with Vince Neil, right? VH1 also named Hanoi Rocks one of the top 40 hair bands of all time. That's close enough
@@drinkawater7477 Yes..they were friends with a hard rock/hair metal band. Doesn't mean their music is even this🤏close to metal. And yes, they were an inspiration to many hair metal bands. Still it's a misconseption that they were a metal band. Hanoi is much better than 80% of 80s bands, I like some of them but I like Hanoi Rocks more
Beautiful song! Hanoi Rocks at their best... I wish I had a time machine so I could travel straight to that concert and experience it all! Would be better than any drug, heavenly!
i have to Disagree ! i seen other videos like you said that are synched to a live performance like Heart Barracuda ..But not this one !!! the studio version of this song is very different from this live version @@richmorpurgo5554
What can you say about this band, pioneers of the 80's glam rock scene, my brothers friend recorded Oriental Beat back in the 80's on tape and I was hooked. My brother saw them at the Reading festival in the 80's I wasn't so lucky. McKoy so underrated as a song writer, the Marquee performance is legendary! Cherry Bombz were also a great band!
All i can say is... how awsome was that. Agree with all others underated. Those that don't get what this band did & influenced other bands, is their loss.
This was my soundtrack as I left the northeast on a coach, aged eighteen, with my mates following behind in a car to wave me off. The Walkman played for ten hours through the night, keeping me company, but little did I know that it heralded the end of an era...and my youth.
ive always loved hanoi rocks and michael monroe really does rock .....luv this song taken from album two steps from the move ,awesome song awesome album .........so many memories ...thanks ....................mmmm m.m xxxxxxxxxxxx
...it's from the old Marquee in Wardor Street, London. There used to be a recording studio on the floor above which is how many bands made live albums there (Cherry Bombs also did). It's also why the sound to this video is so kick-ass clear!
I love how Monroe can intro this song as "a song about a girl and a very beautiful boy." Now that is bad-ass in a way '80s metal fans could never quite get with.
Razzle was in the band when this was recorded - and done. He made Andy work on this song in order to finish, ´cos the composer himself wasn´t convinced at first:-)
I got to see them shortly before Razzles passing band they were a great live experience, these venues were a great size for the Hanoi Rocks experiences. Ramshackle but in a good way from my dimming memory
😂😂😂😂 They were to play their first gig in La but The narcist nail killed Razzle and injured two other in The accident But maybe you saw 5 of their like 10 US gigs ever in NY or Milwaukee....and just like La
I went to tons of Hanoi Rocks gigs in the early days, where was this filmed please? I think I may have been there, thought I saw one of my mates in the mosh pit!
@CrueLoaf guns n roses took SOOO much from hanoi.... and im from the usa (georgia). most folks here dont even know who hanoi rocks are/were?? but as rock n roll lineage goes, most people dont fully understand that modern music as we know it was born in the southeastern united states. (blues) was started here years ago, when black people would sing hymns while working in the fields. blues started country, country started rock n roll. anyway peace..
Andy looks so cute and healthy and got her own teeth still here but sad to say after all those heroin years and now drinking problem is part of his today life and he looks like twenty years older of his age.
