Cavill’s Superman was botched when they decided to make Batman v Superman Killing off his Superman in his 2nd appearance was an awful decision especially considering it wasn’t even the real Doomsday He gets resurrected yet ends up mind controlled by Darkseid and turns into evil Superman Just awful. The film is special for me, it taught me to fly in my Lucid Dreams. Sounds just like a symbolic, feels-good and cool thing to say, but I literally had never thought to fly over the ocean before lol. A few tries and I was going at that type of speed and I still regularly do it just for fun. Even if it wasn’t necessarily Henry, or Zack, or Hans themselves that made that moment,they’re the ones that did.

@@nomadsland8322 You're not the only one man. "Flight" by Hans Zimmer never fails to lift my spirits and make me feel holy. Also "What are you going to do when you are not saving the world?" by Zimmer is also very good. Cavill's acting, Snyder's direction and Zimmer's score all define this movie as a masterpiece. This movie is really what made me believe a man can fly.

My favourite is at the speed of force from ZSJL and then this one.

I wish people would stop comparing every actor who played Superman to Christopher Reeve every actor has a different way of playing the man of steel. (The voice actors don't count in this one) And from what I've seen they all have done a great job John Haymes Newton, Gerard Christopher, Dean Cain. Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, & now Henry Cavill played different versions of Superman. None of these actors are like Reeve & shouldn't have to be each one of them held up to the mantle of the last son of Krypton.

The only problem with this Jor-El is that he's a martial artist... It would have made sense if he traded places with Zod in their fight, but Zod kills Jor-El out of frustration.. Otherwise, Crowe did an excellent job in that role

it was misunderstood and hated at the time of its release. But I think people are starting to realize what an amazing movie it was, what an incredible Superman film it is, and what an astounding jewel that DC has ever produced. Even more now that the Zack Snyder cut of JL has been released. Soon it will be remembered in cinema, like movies of the likes of Scarface (Pacino version). They get better recieved and appreciated thoughout the time.

It's actually my favourite DC movie expect for the Nolan Batman series

I like when superhero movies are more serious and realistic. It gives them more depth.

I like a serious superhero movie, but superman wasn’t really handled well in this, or the Kents. The idea of Jonathan Kent almost wishing Clark had let a bunch of school kids die to stay hidden is pretty bad, in the comics they raised him to be the guy that always helps people, in MoS superman was some depressed wandering loner who occasionally helps but only seems to embrace the idea of being a hero when Jor-El’s ghost tells him too. And then he does a terrible job of actually helping people and destroys most of Metropolis fighting Zod, when he should’ve tried to lead Zod somewhere else. The snapping Zod‘s neck bit I understand, but he didn’t try to help the thousands of people that were being crushed by the buildings he and Zod were flinging each other through. They could’ve made a more realistic superman movie without making the character dull and do things that are out of character for him. But then this is the same guy who decided to make ‘I have 1 rule: no killing’ Batman into a mass murderer who for some reason has no problem murdering a load of henchmen but for some reason didn’t kill the Joker or Harley Quinn...
