1:00 - 1:30 I will forever honor this part of the soundtrack because when I was in high school, I got to play this part as a part of a practice Disney studio while in the orchestra, probably will be the most surreal thing I’ll ever do.
00:32 always gives me chills, it's filled with such sadness and heartbreak and by the time it gets to 1:00 it fills like you're listening to the sound of what hope and power feel and sounds like. I had the amazing opportunity to listen to Hans play it live this year and I've never loved a performance as much as this! well done Hans!!!
At 0:32 is my favourite part... A few months ago we took our six yr old students to see the Lion King 2019 version. It was their first time. It's a strange feeling watching a child's first reaction to something so special and familiar to you, especially when they're only six; it's a special age, I think. And it's fucking hard re-watching this movie after having lost people...I had to keep hiding my face from them so they wouldn't see how torn I was. Anyway,...what I meant to say was that I love this music...there's nothing like it out there. Nothing.
I'm a teacher too, and I had the original film played in class for my juniors. I was literally torn, trying to hide my face while wanting to check out their reactions on the big moments of the film.
No other movie ive seen in my life, can bring tears just from the music alone. One of the many reasons why this is my favorite movie of all time🤷🏾♂️ since I was a kid
Simba…father? Look inside yourself Simba you have forgotten who you are and so you have forgotten me You must take your place in the circle of life how can I go back im not who I used to be as king I was once proud of one thing having you as my son remember who you are You are my son and the one true king
The climax in the middle touches me deep down in my soul and makes me tear up every time. It's like a beautiful and artistic feeling of triumph and self-actualization which matched the movie scene so perfectly.
This scene is, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most chilling endings to any movie in cinematic history!!👌👍👍 Hans Zimmer is a true god amongst composers! It's truly a shame that he hasn't composed for more Disney movies, but his works on The Lion King and PoTC will forever be some of the greatest and most, adventurous and emotional soundtracks of all time!
I think the reason why this song is so majestic and brings tears to eyes is because it reminds us that our life isn't meaningless and that we truly have a purpose, particulary the part when Mufasa says "remember", it's just like God saying to us "remember who you are, I created you and you are mine". It also makes you feel the eternity and victory over death, and that's what Jesus did on the cross - he conquered our greatest enemy- death! If death is the end of everything, then life really doesnt make any sense at all. But REMEMBER - death is conquered once and for all!
It’s been over 20 years since I last watched TLK. I’m almost 30 and this was the first glimpse I’ve heard of Hans Zimmer’s musical genius. The movie was too powerful for me to handle as a toddler. Giving me my first permanent death of one of the heroes in Mufasa. I used to be a sucker for happy endings. I wish I was older in 1995 to process my relief of the trauma over.
@@chickendrawsdogs3343 hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah tha's cute. If you think High school was hard, you aren't ready for life. Literally the easiest part of life
I'm constantly being transported to that sacred space within me. It is like meeting with my inner child once more for that intimate communion, it is like dining with that Divinity and carefree purity of childhood each time I hear it. It is more than just refreshing. I'm always in tears each time. This sound inspires lots of mine
Esta película siempre me recordara a mi papá porque el fue quien me la regaló en VHS ahora que no lo tengo escucho la música y las lágrimas salen solas, y no son lágrimas de tristeza son lágrimas de felicidad de los recuerdos que viví con el. ❤️❤️❤️
When I hear this music,I see myself walking up those beautiful steps that lead to the ETERNAL KINGDOM,and the shackles of this world are long gone, and I enter in through that beautiful gate of pearl, and lovingly embrace our dear, sweet loving savior JESUS,SON OF GOD,and dwelling with those who have went before US in PARADISE FOREVERMORE!!!...HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!!!🙏⛪🙏⛪🙏⛪🙏
This is how I imagine Chadwick Boseman walking up to heaven in peace, it's sad that he died from cancer, rest in peace, your our greatest King, Hero, Legend and a Avenger
One guy in the commment had mentioned 1:00 it feels like the heaven of gates open. After hearing, it truly feels that After long journey in life the sad part of the music is leaving the present family members but the happy part of the music means meeting your parents who are dead and entering the world of peace!!!!! JUST REMEMBER MY WORD AND REMEMBER WHO U ARE
Hearing this music takes me back to when I saw the broadway musical when I was 11 with my nana I’ve seen it three times and my goodness this scene hits me hard she passed away in October. Rip nana you’re part of the circle of Life now say hi to dad for me. Remember.
Why do I feel like the Lion King songs or the most heart touching songs somehow feels like God is present in the whole story? That is how powerful this feels
This is my fav disney movie of all time❤❤❤ also I cried cuz it took me back to my childhood😢😢 also because I just love the lion king soo much can't wait for the new movie ❤❤❤😍😍😍
ditto! my brother & i r twins & we were born in 94 when it came out. im always gonna be thankful the 3d version let us see it in theaters. everybody stood up & clapped at the end. that was all it needed, not a fucking remake. no offense if u liked it but this is perfect just the way it is & didnt need one. i found a few scene comparisons & this kicks the remakes ass. besides that i never saw the damn thing & prolly never will. whats worse is disneys even making another damn one that nobody wants & im never gonna see that shit either
