Yup, they don't even have to show up at the house to be in trouble either. Simply asking to meet a minor for sex is already a crime in most jurisdictions. I've heard they even arrest the guys that don't show up, though they may be a bit harder to convict.

3:08 the predator gave the decoy the easiest lay-up of a question, all he had to say was “I don’t have an ID yet, I’m 13” but instead he says “I don’t have an ID *on me* , I’m only 13, my mom keeps that in her purse” as if it’s perfectly normal for a 13 y/o to have an ID, just not for them to hold onto it

the thing is 13 year old boys don't say mommy and daddy. When I was 13 I was in 8th grade going on to high school in less than a year. Most boys stop saying mommy and daddy at probably 7 years old. No teenage kid is calling his mom by mommy ever....

I think its deeper than that. I think when you're in a flight or fight mode as the predator is and you're lying to save your bacon suddenly you start lying about everything, even insignificant things like taking 1 year from your age in this situation.
