I grew up knowing it as festival of light. Because of the miracle of the temple lamp. Translation of the word Hanukkah or Chanukah is dedication. I’m so glad someone addressed Hanukkah decor. Well done you.!!

Thanks for posting this vid! I will see what $Store has today, need to DIY a menorah. That opening song had me 😭😭😭😭 it touched me. Her voice is amazing, she doesn't need AutoTune. I wish music producers would stop using AutoTune.😁👍 will have to check out Sister Neah's music!

APTTMH sis. Great suggestions. You can find the music in the description section of my videos. If you dont already own one, I suggest buying a KJV apocrypha so you can read why we celebrate Hannukah/FOD. You can read about it here: 1 Maccabees 4:59, 2 Maccabees 1:18, John 10:22.....you celebrate it just like any other feast day. With joyfulness and gladness of heart, eat yummy food feast, congregate, 1st and last day are Sabbaths so only cooking. I deff can do a video and will prob save it for next year. Thanks for the idea. We we're just talking about how we should be celebrating Hanukkah instead of Christmas. I just had my first baby and have 2 older foster kids. Thinking we will try both this year so we don't just totally get rid of the family tradition on Xmas but this year I'm not buying any toys. We will make cookies, drink cocoa, watch Xmas movies whatever and read the nativity story, pray together etc but I won't be buying toys. Kids were extremely ungrateful last year and I think we need a reminder that it's not about gifts it's about Christ and family. They get plenty of junk from family and friends anyway 🙄

Awww maan. I know, DT can be so inconsistent. Most the time Walmart has the same or similar items for a few cents more. But yes sometimes it takes multiple trips to different DT stores to be successful 🙃
