Big thanks for organizing this meet up again Anna! It was better and bigger than last year’s! Got to meet so many amazing people and connected with them. This event benefits more than just new comers or students, since people who’ve been here for years shared their experiences too so it was fun and such a great learning opportunity too. The United Kingdom has no power inside Canada. King Charles just represents Canada as the head. Some of those land belongs to the federal and provincial government, and other lands are privately owned. If the Canadian government wants to clear up some of the crown land and build buildings, they can. Canada is also planning on getting rid of the commonwealth and become a fully independent country from UK. They will probably abolish the monarchy in the future!

I'm disappointed that I couldn't attend the event this time. It sounds like it was a fantastic opportunity. It's been 4 months in Canada, and I haven't made many friends yet. However, I'm determined to make it next time without a doubt. Looking forward to joining in next time!
