@@johnnada649 ah yes, the moron who believes he has finally attained nirvana, and believes that everyone ought to see the world the way he does. Delusional narcissist.
I’m actually really happy with my script. I either drive 10 minutes to work or bike there in 30 minutes. I have a boss I like and the job is never more than 40 hours a week with no weekend work. My spouse and dog think I’m good enough company to stick with and I like where I live. I really couldn’t ask for more.
I could answer your message like this but... eu vi seu nome e presumo que entenda perfeitamente o que escrevo agora. Mudamos nossos olhos, mudamos nossa percepção, mudamos nossa realidade.
Because how can a human not pursue happiness? It's within our nature to do so. Everything we do has happiness as its goal, but unfortunately happiness is not a goal that can be reached. So life is just a never ending hunt for happiness, as it's always been for everyone.
@@leov4404 Well i don't know about you but I experience happyness quite often. Sadness is part as life as much as happyness but its not a hunt for happynes which never gets fullfilled. Thats a bunch of poetic bullsht.
@@myfairlady343 of course you can experience some pleasures in life, but they are not happiness, or, if you will, they're just short-term happiness. So after a short while, we're still on the hunt. We're never fulfilled and we always seek more, and that's what keeps us going. This at least is my opinion, then ofc you can call it bs how much you want
@Chuck Nourrizzz Oh jeez, I just graduated and just found my first job and my boss seems to be hated by my co-workers. And I'm doing things that is NOT on my job description; sitting with a computer doing some paperwork.
Don't be stuck doing the same job year after year. When I get bored with work every 2 to 3 years I move to something else. Dont be a slave to the same employer try different things.
Yes. This is my biggest fear too. And you know what? It manifested in my life as a paranoia.. inability to hold a job, money problems, entrepreneur dreams, desperately seeking something but never finding it. Until I found a way out.
@@eggxecution In other words money can provide happiness / pleasure but just like every limited resource, money and the pleasure achieved from it are finite and run out. Life itself is temporary, doesn't necessarily mean it's not worth it.
I love this so much! I spent about an hour looking at every detail. There is so much to take in that you don't see on the first time watching. I wish I could see this in 4k without compression. I love all of the little signs and Easter eggs. You did an amazing job! Beautiful work!
@@jamoriah unfortunately it seems that religious folks are the ones pushing profane excessive materialism on America and the world, whether they intend it or not that is the effect of neoliberalism
dude this is so good i rarely comment on a RU-vid video your video made me comment on it keep up the good work man the animation the editing and the background music was on point and what a great message
The short film shows the reality of our life. Everyone thinks money is the happiness. And they force themselves to work to earn more. They lose the freedom. It is the most sad!
To be honest you just write "this reminds me of my English teacher..." In the beginning and you will probably get an A+ or you know...be in school untill time itself becaumes irrelevant.
@@Podders1991I 100% agree about the benefits of removing social media, but not sure the best way to categorize YT, but I do know it can be just as addictive and damaging if not kept in small doses.
@@zantas-handle Social media, people posting statuses on to your news feed about how great their life is etc, and there is no way to not see this. YT, you can select what video you want to watch and consume the content of your choice. Sorry I had to explain this to you, I understand it can be hard to conceptualise for some. Hope it helps.
To further that point, I believe it was Socrates who explained that the more intense the pleasure, the worse the pain afterwards. So in conclusion, the 'ideal' life is to not overindulge in pleasure, so that you can diminish as much suffering as possible.
Dominic that is exactly what religion is for it is for having a balanced life and praying to God. and yet people thinking religion is limited your freedom. Freedom from what? All these things exhibited in the video ? True freedom is freedom from being a slavery to desires and material objects and not centering your entire life around your wealth but rather spiritual fulfillment
@@fuzkforyouWell writing a simple sentence once is something that most people find really easy but having to rewrite that sentence hundreds of times is much harder and more tedious.
So many commentaries about the elevator scene being about chasing instead of getting. I felt it's simply a gag about waiting in the elevator, then returning to the chase after arrival. Tom & Jerry and Looney Toons are full of those.
@@mooki3162 I myself, interpreted that scene as how humans always chase money but whenever they have a real chance to actually get it, they don’t jump at the opportunity. Something similar ig, maybe they don’t SEE the opportunity instead. (I might be wrong lmao)
Except me. I will be a politican and i will be puppet of President. In my fucking country politicans earning 20.000 lira (Turkish money) I will be rich in 10 years.

Jesus loves you and want tô give tô you another Life, eternity Life, where there's no sufferring, no sadness, no cry. Dont kill yourself, dont suicide, God have a purpose tô you life
brother, I am an engineer too. Please, do not feel disheartened. Happiness comes through the fact that no matter what is happening you always have a choice. Being an engineer might have been bestowed upon you but in every moment you have a choice to get out of it. Of course, you have to face the consequences of your choices but it all ends in death, no matter what you do the end state cannot be changed. Even when you die fearing hell, you won't be there to experience it, at least not as you. So how to be happy? Just change your perspective.... When you feel no stimulation, like when you are meditating......there is a type of meditation where you sit and try to feel everything, the frustration, sadness, happiness....whatever you are feeling during meditation you explore that feeling till you exhaust all the feelings to feel and you cannot feel anything further. After getting up from this kind of meditation you will welcome all sorts of experiences.... even pain......to some extent. Because the absence of any feeling is worse than bad feelings. This would not mean death is bad.....because if there is no one to feel there wouldn't be anyone to feel the absence of feeling.
It doesn't symbolize anything related to software/technology or engineering. Rather, it is an example of burden of overwork and the pursuit of materialism which causes one to be bound to one's workspace and spares one with little room to relax or enjoy.
@@Mr0Anonymous0 "I have come to realize that the invincible force that drives the world is not happy love but contrary love." Progress, actually, is just a form to forget about how meaningless life is. But u don't need to be pessimist about all of this
The pursuit of happiness is a fool’s errand. I find that great stability is found in the mere absence of suffering. The average state of mind should not be feared, as it has a comfort all its own.
The advertisement in every corner is so spot on. "The better you", "Be the real you", "Be the best", "You are nothing without it", ”Drink. Forget. Smile".
I made an edit and added things as a part two to this film. It only goes for 60 seconds ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wNAsotU9DPY.html

I used to be part of the Rat Race comuting to London everyday. I got off the conveyerbelt and moved to turtle pace Lincolnshire. Brought a big house with land but then I had other issues. Learning to be ' grateful ' , making your peace with God and living every day as your last is certainly a good step towards finding the elusive ' happiness'.
"The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves." - Alan Watts
@@dajanacoric1241 Reminded me. Alan Watts suggests there is no ultimate meaning of life, but that "the quality of our state of mind" defines meaning for us. This is in contradiction to the notion that an inner essence is waiting to be discovered. Paying attention to the everyday, mundane objects can become highly significant, filling life with meaning.
When you get home after a long tired day and there is this other person with whom you can talk to and open up and they tell you about their day is what truly makes us happy.
@Chuck Nourrizzz lmao jokes can still have a serious message behind them. A lot of the small details are meant to be humorous. Comedy is probably the best way to make social commentary
