CM APPRECIATION!!! My sister has worked for the parks for 5 years now. Busy times are just that, BUSY. So, when the park is full for an occasion, it keeps the CMs working at 100%. First year she worked there, she had Christmas Day off and so her and I went to MK for rope drop….ever since she will not go on busy days (and cm passes are usually blocked anyways) becuase it was no fun for her understanding the other side of days like that.
This is the best RU-vid coverage I’ve seen of the 50th- didn’t fight the rope drop, ate 50th food, rode Small World, viewed cavalcade in special 50th outfits, pointed out three special Disney employees, looked at/purchased 50th merchandise, viewed firework show including Tinkerbell. 💙💖💜💙💖💜
Agreed! Tim really hit all the special aspects of the day. The piano player was such a great touch, Bob Gurr riding the carrousel, a selection of 50th treats, and some merch. It felt complete, celebratory, and relaxed.
Great as always Tim, looks like Jackson is getting a Bucket Hat. Many at Rope Drop said it felt more like Black Friday at Target, sell sell sell. Disney missed the Boat on Honouring Walt and Roy.
Agreed! We were there and nothing was said at all about Walt or Roy for the park open. I was so disappointed! I thought top executives would say something but instead they did a photo op off on the grass. I could have come months later and got the same experience. My friend and I rode rides which was good b/c everyone was on lines. As for the merch, nothing thrilled me. Also those exclusive Oct 1 pins were available days later at Epcot and MK so why the big lines. If you wanted any of the 50th merch you had to get on a virtual queue that was 4 hrs long at only 3 spots. Very disappointed.

seeing enchantment a second time, I think my main problem is that it feels more like a celebration of walt disney animated films than disney world. it's very pretty but I think that's why it feels like "just another fireworks show". anyway, this video was fun, and I loved your hat at the end 💕
Perhaps the barbers didn't want to risk there health cutting the hair of unvaccinated or covid infected people, as they were laid off and found other places to work probably can't find anyone with experience that's wants to work for such bad money.

I’ve seen a lot of people comment that enchantment should’ve mentioned Walt and been more about the 50 years than the current movies and I agree. Also sad to see they did covers instead of original soundtrack songs and I think that’s what almost takes away from the emotion that HEA has.
It’s so neat seeing the people who have been there since day one and just some of the Imagineers as well! I really appreciate Tim saying to respect and be polite to cast members. They deserve it :D
I think that so many people keep saying they need to Enchanted again and again is the problem. It is not a bad firework show. But there’s nothing nostalgic or special for a celebration this big. And many families will not get a chance to see it more than once to make it better
The little girl at 16:00 yelling for Elena’s attention was sooo adorable. Wish we could have seen her reaction when she acknowledged her. She must have had the biggest smile on her face! 😊 That’s Disney magic.
I think the fireworks display was awesome! The projections were incredible! I feel like the concept of the new fireworks display is just fun! It was uplifting and beautiful. I’ve heard others say how the previous one was emotional and people aren’t feeling the new one. I actually thought it achieved the fun theme, not suppose to make you cry but make you smile and cheer! Definitely the spot you picked out is a full visual effect location!
Best video in ages! You gave us a whole day, food, a ride and a special event. Missed these kinds of videos. Makes me feel like I’m in the park instead of just stopping in for one activity or meal and then leaving. Love this!!
This is a celebration of why you guys are the best Disney vloggers 😂. Got merch, didn’t cram in with every other person covering the 50th, enjoyed the day with a positive attitude, got a hot dog, rode some rides, gave good info, nice editing with the firework show, and got a sweet bucket hat! Anyone else feel changed forever by this pandemic? Seeing everyone pushed together made me sweaty and nervous 😬 Hopefully someday it can feel normal again!
That hat at the end caught me totally off guard and made me laugh so hard! Its a great look. Maybe the more often watching Enchantment you'll find more things to love but its always hard when it follows a really great show.

Jen, the editing was wonderful! Tim, best coverage of new fireworks that I have seen since your combination of castle projections as well as wide shots of Main Street projections with overall fireworks was so much better than any of the live streams. Best view of Tink that I have ever seen! Your cap is an old 70's style and cute - seen several RU-vid presenters that seem not to realize the history of that style which I remember everyone in middle school, both boys and girls, learning basic sewing skills by making their own cap in their chosen colors. I am 60 years old, so I remember all the vault merch very well. Appreciate ya'll so much!🎆🏰🎇✨✨✨😊

I think what it is for Enchantment for me is it misses some of the emotional weight. They are a little too heavily focused on modern disney instead of a balanced mix of all the best periods of Disney animation. The new versions of the songs that they did leave the lyrics in don't pull at our heart strings as much. And when you compare it to Happily Ever After...HEA brings you on a full emotional journey. I tear up every single time I watch HEA, be it in the parks or at home. Even the first time I watched it, which was online just like Enchantment, I teared up. Especially when they have Mufasa speak, immediately followed by Go The Distance, just after all the destruction from the villains. It's so powerful. I also feel like Enchantment is distinctly lacking some of the more special effects firework moments - the Up house/balloons coordinated with the rainbow fireworks, Merida's shot with her bow and Mulan's cannon fire both having perfectly placed fireworks to match, the sparks and fireworks during the villains sequence, everything around the castle looking like it's on fire during the pirates sequence from all the low down smoke. HEA had clever interactions between the pyrotechnics and the projections in a way that Enchantment feels like it's missing. all that said - it's not like I'm one of the people who dislikes change and gets grumpy when Disney brings in a new show. I adore Harmonious already and I can't wait to see it in person. It looks STUNNING and so well suited to the World Showcase. I just feel like for a 50th anniversary Enchantment should have been....better. With more focus on every age of Disney and honoring Mickey and Walt and Roy. It all started with a mouse...and Enchantment, a show that should respect that legacy, completely forgot it.
Your decision not to be there at rope drop was a good one. The behavior of a lot of the people there was childish. Lol I bought that tub for $3 in the 99cents store. Thanks Tim for another fun video 👍

Thanks for the show. My favorite is still Mickeys Mix Magic at Disneyland. The projections on the building are phenomenal and the foam that represents snow at the end is so much fun.

My gf and I got to be there for the 50th. It was so crazy to see just how much Disney means to everyone after all this time especially during the pandemic. Times like this were definitely needed.
Tim I sure wish we had run into you last week at Disney. My husband turned 50 on Friday October 1st. His name is Kurt. He’s a big fan of you channel, he watches it all the time, we used to go to Disney about 2 times a year. While I daughter was growing up. I promised him about 15 years ago I would take him to Disney on his 50th bday and Disney s 50th anniversary, I’m thrilled I got to take him, we went to Animal Kingdom. A very sweet Disney lady gave him a birthday pin and she sang happy bday to him. And what a beautiful voice she has. The Rain Forrest cafe gave him a delicious cup cake. We had a dinner party at our time share over at the Sheraton now Marriott. And our little girl we used to take to Disney all the time when she was young joined us alone with other family and friends. Our little girl will be a doctor in two years. And I guess it’s our fault she’s now a Florida resident. Who knows maybe we will be one day as well. Sorry we missed you but just wanted you to know your big fan Kurt was able to celebrate his big 50Th Birthday October 1st with Disney, take care! And maybe next time we visit the happiest place on earth we will see you there. Leslye
I absolutely loved the 50th calvacade we also had the boat as well. It was great seeing you and taking a picture with you and my son. I didn't even no about the hot dog I was to busy trying to get my Minnie sipper from Cosmic Ray's. Wow the hot dog looks amazing and thanks for the info I was wondering why everyone was over there. I do love Casey's I can't wait to try the hot dog.
I love that you caught the monorail from TTC. That was so cool to see the construction around Spaceship Earth. I'm sad because there are so many changes, but excited too!

Really liked the fireworks. Great vlog and loling the bucket hat😎 I am biased, I slept in DCA for the 50th of Disneyland on the peir. Young and had a blast. I still have some of the confetti, streamers, and merch we had to get in line for just after rope drop at fort wilderness lodge. Fun, chaotic, wild. While I wish that happened i WDW, the crowds +??? Thanks
