@@OORRIIGGIINNAALL It actually wasn't. I suggested that this might be the second train produced when I saw the official announcement video AND someone then told me that this is something they plan to announce before this year is over. The reason why I suggested it is because we have to remember that these passenger trains that ScaleTrains is producing via Fox Valley were originally from MTH Trains, and the "Daylight" was the first named train that MTH produced just as the Powhatan Arrow was originally the second. Thus, it's only logical that ScaleTrains will probably release the "Daylight" as its second named train.

@@j.w.billingsley1635 Alright, that makes sense. Yes, the MTH Daylight cars are still very much desired, so I guess chances are quite high that the Daylight train and GS-4´s could be next. Nice to heard that you heard it might be announced already by the end of this year!

611's "birthday" is actually May 29th, not June 11th. May 29th, 1950 is the day that she was unveiled and put into service.

The engine is a preproduction running sample, so smoke output was light. It will be fine tuned before production. -Logan

Makes me wonder if they’ll include a steaming whistle too, MTH had quite a few steam engines with that installed (ie the berks). If SXT ever does a run if Berkshires they better have the smoking whistle

This footage was compiled from the unveil of the first production sample, so the smoke volume appears the same. It will definently be adjusted before final delivery. -Logan

@@mojessedax9089 Not on the J release. Always the potential though, if we can get the smoke setup dialed in to support normal stack operation and any extras like whistle. -Logan
