What I dislike with all those cat trees are that the connectors are plastic. And my one cat is a chonk. And it feels like after the screw/ plastic connector breaks, it seem impossible to mend it. :/ If anyone got any nice tricks to mending a broken tree, please tell. :)

The only thing that I’ve done to help prevent that is when you notice one of the branches is starting to get loose or crooked, is to screw it back down tight again. I’ve had that happen on trees in the past and it was usually because they turn and loosen over time. So if it can’t bend or move, the plastic worn crack. But other than that I’ve found higher quality cat trees that are made from actual wood last forever. Good luck to you and your chonk!
