The TSO is deeply proud to be an orchestra at the heart of a famously diverse city. We take pride in the diversity within our music community, and celebrate this diversity through our programming and community initiatives. This month, we join millions around the world in celebrating Asian Heritage Month! We invite you to join in on this month-long celebration of the vibrantly diverse Asian communities within our broader tapestry, and uplift the visibility of the individuals within these communities. One of the many conversations we’ll be having this month begins with our own RBC Affiliate Composer Alison Yun-Fei Jiang. She sat down with us recently to reflect on what Asian Heritage Month means to her, share her message to her fellow community members, and how the broader TSO community can support the mission and spirit of Asian Heritage Month.
