On April 8th, 2023 at approximately 11:41pm, CSX I138 charged up the Mt Airy grade. Locomotives: CSX 4589, an EMD SD70MAC (YN3 website paint) CSX 4528, an EMD SD70MAC (Yn3b paint)
If only csx ran emd on intermodals all the time! Hopefully they end up back on the old main line sooner than later. My guess (which may be completely wrong and is based in nothing factual) is that maybe around the holidays they will run more intermodal IDs with some occasionally taking the Old main. Who knows!
