John is a constant inspiration to me and has been for nearly 18 years now.
I have studied him and his playing so so much and he has just given me so much and I am forever grateful to him and he will always be my biggest hero and inspiration.
Thank you John and have a great day. : )

If I was ever ditched like Josh was, I would absolutely refuse to come back. Even though he doesn't want to say it cause he is a gentleman, the way they got rid of him was such a dick move.

@Cody Levinson Okay. Josh is fuckin awesome but he's no Frusciante. And I'm pretty sure everyone including him knows that. And Why nobody makes video on how to play like josh? Because he's no Frusciante and most of the people has been angry about john leaving and hating josh without even listening to his music. And I'm sure that John's solo albums sold millions of copies...no? Yeah. Neither will Josh's solo album. And you know that josh did help frusciante write music while he was in rhcp. And I agree that josh's music was nowhere near John's but we weren't comparing josh and john, we were comparing Josh And Dave. Also, do you see anyone making videos on how to play dave? No they don't. And if you say Dave's underrated then so is Josh Klinghoffer.

The empyrean for me is up there with raw power, one of the best rock albums to hear, I haven't yet been able to listen to individual songs on either album, they both have to be listened to all the way through, the sign of a truly great album. I hope that John manages to bring some of that guitar/electronic mix to his Rhcp gigs that he got so good at on solo records.

lovit, ... there are loads of guys out there who try to teach/explain Johns way playing, ... but to me, JF influence on you is very obvious, which is and can only be seen as a compliment of mine. You are my no 1 source of JF and of course JH play style. Keept it on.

Happy Birthday John, this was freaking epic Dave what a tribute, loved the entire track some great nods in there to him but for me the ending was 'that' dimension we love
