Today I want to wish everybody a happy Fourth of July weekend. I hope that today, we take a look at where we have come from as a nation, the good and the bad, and where we want to go together in the future.

That's what the man does. That's how he made us cry. He isn't one of us, he is us, the manifestation of all we know to be true but have yet to outwardly realize in our society. And just like us he gets mired in the minutiae; Opponents are also friends and colleagues. And right action isn't always easy to discern much less carry out in the face of decorum, protocol and opposition from friends and colleagues. Our manifestation is as perfect as we are. They say anything that is needed for the people is impossible, or unpatriotic, or (gasp) Red, and so shouldn’t even be expected. Because anything that is needed to catch America up with the other G7 countries would transfer money and self realization of power to the people, from the entire rotten robber barons who are devouring the country from the inside out. Bernie wasn’t kidding when he told you who you are up against as the Movement works to improve the lives of all Americans, and transfer some of her wealth back to the people who truly own it. They, including most politicians , are hell bent on preserving their corrupt individual power, and they live in fear of people realizing if they come together, they can easily demand a decent living. Bernie has been fighting against established power, and for the average citizen most of his life. He has stood, often alone, fighting for a future for the people who have been denied, and those people are beginning to know it. Many young people know how badly the game is rigged, and that knowledge is spreading. People are realizing the enemy is not defined by Left or Right. The enemy is corporate raiding, aided by politicians. The enemy is poverty, poor education, fear of illness, fear of bankruptcy, fear of anyone who sounds or looks different, fear of living without an assault weapon, fear of anything the mainstream media corporations tells you to fear and hate. These are the chains Americans have been dragging around with them for so long, they feel comfortable. Well, improved lives means kicking off your own ball and chain, and your countrymen’s, too. It means realizing your political representatives have very poor records of public service, and recognizing the people in the streets are just as poor as you are. You are all common people. Some of these facts are uncomfortable, but now is the time to ask what you are made of, what you want for yourself and your family, and if you are ready for change. Change takes courage, but it brings joy because it unites people; it brings solidarity, strength through numbers. And a united people can do anything. Climate change is demanding we unite and fight it now. We are out of time, out of bread and circuses, and we have to unite and demand action now. We are facing drought, flooding, crop failure, starvation, unstable weather , sea rise, and we have to put aside our fear, and face what we must do, or very few people will survive, let alone the entire food chain. We have to tackle it now. The time is now. There is no later.🔥

We don't know why he was convinced to drop out, but I have met the man, and he is our only and best way out of this muck! He is the man with all of the best plans and policies to take this country into the 21st century, with gusto!! A real, sincere man of the people! After having a conversation with him several months ago, I remembered him saying something along the lines of, if he believed that he can do more for us, we the people, by not continuing to run , then he would choose to be there for us, in the best capacity. I really think that he has chosen to work from within the democratic party, because quite frankly, we need him to be focused on fighting, and getting some much needed wins on our behalf, while battling the Republican party and the Democrats at times, most of the time. He would not drop out, unless he realized that. My theory, but I will say, Bernie is one of the few politicians I've met, who has a genuine interest and concern for every single American, including ttrump supporters. He doesn't enjoy stooping to their level, instead, he tells it like it is, and with all of his years of experience, knowledge, wisdom and skills to fight for and with us on every government policy! Oh, and he is still on the ballot for November, so if we know that we need Bernie Sanders for us to turn this around, we have the right to choose the candidate we know is our last, best chance for making positive changes in Washington! We shall see, but he and other progressives are out there every day, helping members of our communities all across America. They never stopped. If we don't elect, unanimously, and overwhelmingly for a guy like Bernie Sanders, and truly join together, working Unitedly, then we have a better chance of taking our power over Washington, as was intended!
I love u so much Bernie. I was too shy to tell you when I went to see you, but you saved my life. I was paralyzed 6 years ago and no longer wanted to go on, but I had children! I found Bernie’s vids on YT, and through him, found The Young Turks. Between the two, I learned that someone was listening and gave a damn. I clung to their content, experiencing catharsis through their anger at the system who crushes ppl like me. I’m happy today, hardly ever thinking of how my life has changed, just living it. Bernie is the leader of our movement, and I will be loyal to and love him forever. Thank you, dear, dear man. ❤️XO

May we always remember that most of our forebears came here to escape some form of oppression and, in doing so, became part of a system that oppressed others. May we never forget that this country was created out of the horrors of genocide against our indigenous people and enslavement of those removed from their homeland and brought here against their will. And may we play our part, since our ancestors cannot, in accepting responsibility, and grieving, for the gross misdeeds laid upon all those throughout the centuries who have been pushed down and diminished in this land where the promise has always been to support and uplift one another. We ARE the United States. We CAN be better going forward than we were in times past. It is just a choice between love and hate. It is time to personally embody the ideals and principles of this great nation, where we know ALL are created equal by our creator and we strive to see and treat all as equal to ourselves. Uncle Joe who talks about everybody in 7 11 and donut stores having Indian accents & calls black folks predators & has a long history of working with segregationists -- all part of a pattern of plain old prejudice & sexual inappropriateness on top of that: not one drop better than Crazy Donald, whom Uncle Joe wants to challenge to push ups or fisticuffs. Could it just possibly be Prejudice?
