Sidney Mathious, here in the U.K. we love our 5th of November firework shows also. We have them to celebrate Guy Fawkes’ failure to blow up the British Parliament. It’s normally a rather small affair, families gathering together in gardens and setting off their own fireworks. That’s why I love it, it has such a personal feeling to it, unlike these large-scale displays.
