She struggles with her motor skills now because of her health. She was better at it as a teen. Her style probably would’ve matured too if she was well mentally. Unfortunately she’s deteriorated completely and can’t do basic tasks such as apply eyeliner without looking like a clown.
Forgive me, but I don't know if this is the trend with makeup now ? It seems so cheap, clown like, un- refined. Where has the class and subtlety gone? 😢
I wish she’d allow a real MUA to do her eyeshadow to show how it can actually enhance her eyes, instead of covering them completely. It’s called an eyeliner wing, not a beak. *sigh*
While she was at his ranch you'd think Jeffree would've done her make-up or given her some of his tips and tricks since he doesn't want her to make his make-up look bad.
the makeup is definitely WEARING HER and she is NOT wearing the makeup. in the pictures following her recovery journey that the hair stylist posted with her bangs after the Shane documentary, her face was full and the makeup actually looked really good on her. It’s her bone structure protruding too much to focus on the makeup.
@4 Yea, that can be the case. I've actually never understood why she does such heavy make up. Especially the eyes. She would look beautiful with light and minimal make up or even totally without any make up...
Ok I can agree she’s bad at make up, but not everyone is a natural artist, and at least it’s one thing she enjoys outside of her ed right? 🤷♀️ Better this than the other kind of content.
I mean, I'm glad she's doing makeup tutorials again... At least that is worthy content.... But i hope she's still pursuing help at an out patient facility.
Oh noo, please no pink or any kind of red as eyeshadow. Imo it never looks good except maybe a Geisha look with the white contrast. Else it‘s just giving the impression of swollen eyes, sickness to me. I associate red around eyes w illness, irritation. Probably that‘s the reason, I can‘t fight it, it‘s so immediate when I see red around eyes.
She has beautiful eyes and does a great job (for herself) on them. Unfortunately, her application method is slipping and it’s not flattering. Anyone who knows makeup will tell you that holding a mirror while trying to look at yourself on the phone camera is NOT the way to go. And if he was a true friend, JEFFREE would ‘guide’ her on it. Wear your makeup any darn way you choose; just make sure you’re always applying it so that it makes both the wearer AND the developer proud. Show us the ‘magnificently precious mirror ONCE and then move on to a stand up mirror like everyone else and apply from there. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I like her make up from the cheeks down. I think she has beautiful eyes, but her makeup makes them look hooded and macabre. If she could tone it down just a bit, it would look much better. I know she was missing posting content, I hope she has truly learned and practices a little modesty and starts taking better care of herself. I wish other cosmetic companies would send her makeup to try. There are so many pretty palletes out there to try other than Jeffree Star. I also hope that she thinks about her future a little more. Nothing lasts forever, she needs a back up plan. What is the words to a song….it’s better to burn out than to fade away.
All that wasted makeup just to be washed diwn the sink. I wonder what she looks like without all that heavy crap. She's a beautiful girl...doesn't need half of this crap
When she came fresh out of rehab in 2019, her make up skills were great. She was healthier and her make up was on point. The sicker she gets, the worse her makeup skills get
For those of you saying the makeup is terrible, i just want to say two things. One, her aesthetic/style is 'scene', which involved putting on excessive makeup, and especially heavy eyeliner, often in Gothic styles. Two, as you can see, she is anorexic. Her mind and her body aren't what they should be like, so she can't do hey makeup properly anyways. God bless her, I hope she gets better.
I just wonder for a moment...if she was a healthy weight with banging curves would she still get all these negative comments about her make up application. Like I said...just wondering.
This is a *ucked up world and I have to stop wondering I guess because I just wouldn't put another human being down like that. Especially one is a struggle or that's suffering.
When will ppl realize brows change the look and layering on the makeup from very light to a little heavier is what makes the look! Don’t just pack it all on the colors just look like a mess
Instead of saying she does this and that wrong, let’s all just pray for her, ourselves, and others in need. I know she’s came at ppl and said things too, but what is going on with her is a disorder, that her mind won’t let her recognize fantasy over reality. She’s been trying hard to be someone she isn’t bc she gets way more attention that way. She’s said that when she was healthy she didn’t like what she looked like/that person, and I’m not quoting this as to be her exact words, but similar. Anyway, when you try to be who you aren’t, you’re gonna do things to please others and what they want, an all in all and in the end, you wasted all that time while destroying your own self trying to please others in the process that most likely just used her as she used them. Pay no attention to the nay sayers. You keep being the best you that YOU can be. Hold your head up and be proud of yourself. You don't need anyone's approval. ❤
You may mean well but she is never going to be the best she can be while she continues on this path of self destruction. Her health is only going to continue to deteriorate and decline.
