Yeah, when I got into drones back in the CC3D days, I wouldn't have imagined how tiny, advanced, and cheap the tech would get in just a few years. It's kinda mind boggling and it makes you wonder what crazy advanced sci-fi tech the military secretly has.

you could try upping the min_throttle which can help with yaw twitches and setting the throttle_mid to .60 or 0.65 will make the hover better, it will only mask the issue but it may fly better! Also have you tried Emuflight recently? I flashed my 7" the other day and it seem to be free of annoying wobbles and propwash, I was gonna try the whoop tomorrow!

On the Mobula 6 original, going to 3.0 or 2.9 v regardless of battery alert. because VSAG, like when tryin to get it back to your living room from the basement. then it dies. This still happens with EMUflight as well however reports are that HM have resolved the issue on this newer rev board.

I think the split 3 lite is 10.5g. If another 6.5g isn't too much you could swap it out for a Vista without heatsinks + dipole + stripped nebula cam.

Hi AndyRC, thanks for the nice video. I have the question: there is micro-sd card slot inside mobula6, but it's really hard to disassemble it to take videos every time. Is it possible to download videos with cable? Maybe such an option in Betafly present? Sorry, I'm a newbie :)

Thanks a really interesting review. Ended up getting one, with stock 3.5.7 Betaflight but had disappointing flight time even with 300mAh HV GNB batteries. Flashing the ESC's with JESC 48kHz helped a bit and seems even better still on Betaflight 4.3 with one of the new profiles (with 48kHz and RPM filtering) but no doubt can tweak a little more. Need to try with larger 450/520mAH batteries as heard can work better with those for longer flight times. I have a mobula 6 and that flies much longer and nimbler than this HD version, this is more of a cruiser, but still good fun. Some have changed the props and frame to Mobula 7 one to get better flight times as well, and more control.

Hi Andy , great review again thanks mate :) I have a question for you , what do you recomend as The best tiny whoop style drone with a crossfire bnf . I do have The meteor 75 from beta fpv and are planning to get The meteor 65 to. Buy maybe there are better options , i like The new conector on The new beta fpv lipos tho :)

Nick Burns recommends upgrading it with a M7 V2 frame and gemfan props for the 75mm base. He made a vid about it where he were he said that he got a more fluid and stable flight with more speed and nicer looking hd footage. He used a 450 mah 1s though.

Hi Andy, I starter fpv a few month ago. I buy a Mobula6 HD and I'm a little bit disappointed by flight time. Indoor in angle mode and a smooth flying with bluejay firmware in 96khz, I can't go over 3 min of flight 😔 maybe you've got an advice, tanks. Takeshi care 👍

3 mins is pretty standard for a whoop. Biggest upgrades to help that is to change the connector type to gnb27 although I personally find the slim line xt30s better

hey Andy, which tinywhoop would you recommend for starting out right now? I‘ve got the literadio2 and goggles plus some sim hours. Perhaps you are watching the wrong channels haha. I beat my 5 inch speed record the other week. Reviewed the dc5 and did a top ten fastest drones of all time. My best guess is that lockdown and regulations are your answer through.

@@kwadkrazy6078 Well my frame has a few cracks in it now and I should probably get new batteries but overall nothing that can't be fixed. Also make sure not to lose the screw on it, they only give a few spares

Also regarding the betaflight reset when the voltage goes below 3v Nick Burns has posted another video correcting this, saying this was a mistake on his part (pls see video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k-eKISN3iao.html ) apparently happymodel had a go at him because of his comment.

@@Ed-Ed124 not had the issue myself even killed a couple of lipos. although iv had it with other Fc's. i see running the lipo down more of a problem than the settings getting reset. Had it happen on other boards.

For 2.5 minutes ...... it's a waist of a good camera on a good flier ..... They just don't seem to Mesh or make sense ..... The Low flight times on these Micros is sad .... Where is the Solid Rock drone that does it All to Perfection ........ the mini Maverick is the closest , but it's still got Work ...... We need a Perfectly flying Stabilized 4k GoPro that flies for 10 minutes under 250 grams . ...... Great Show as Usual ! Cheers !
