I'm impressed with all of the new buildings in Japan, but for me, the "classic" Harajuku station is more appealing than the new Harajuku station. I like how the old station is nestled among all the trees. It's also a nice reminder of a different era.
While it was nice to see the real doggo statue, I never saw the point in waiting so long to get a picture with him, the unofficial looks so cute though.
Another great summer walking tour through Shibuya and I'm here for it. Lovin' it. I always enjoy seeing the Gaomunity meeting Rion on the street, especially at the end of this video. We went to Shibuya Sky and saw the wishing tree. Enjoyed the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Love the energy. Went to Tower Records where I used to work in the 80's in NYC store no longer there of course.

Rion, congrats on your 500 videos achievement! I had Ippudo Ramen this March in Ginza too, kind of difficult to find the place as it was hidden behind the building. Loving it. Next March, I am coming to Osaka and want to try that Ichiran Ramen that you had before, and open that cute little door when the Ramen is ready, very interesting. Coincidently, I re-watched the 2024 countdown livestream yesterday and you went to the same place in this video. Chinese do celebrate the seventh day during the seventh lunar month (10 August 2024) too. It is supposed to be a Valentine's Day but now not many people are celebrating it too. Hi Rion, when I watched you having your ramen lunch and you were talking about the price, it reminded me of my recent experience in NYC at Ichiran. My small bowl of chashu ramen, no extra stuff on it, just green onions, it cost me $23 U.S. dollars. I thought that was pretty takai! Lol. That's NYC for you! Take care Rion!
