Strip the wires on the AC secondary of the transformer and
the B+ wire and the B- red wire first. TIN the wires with solder - just a bit to make sure the wires will flow well into the circuit board holes.
Once the PM-400 board is all soldered up - the part are all in. Remove the existing power supply boards. Clip the wires as close to the old boards as possible. Screw in the PM-400 using the brackets from the old boards - from ONE of the old boards remove the two brackets and re-use them.
Fasten the PM-400 to the side of the power supply with the 4 screws. Note the RED AC1 wires from the HUGE transformer which supply the HV. Make sure those REACH the AC inputs on the PM-400 board. The diodes go toward the SERIAL number on the power supply. Then bolt on the board to the side of the power supply.
Strip enough from the wires to be able to solder from the top side down on the the mounted PM-400 board.
Tilt the power supply on its end so that the bottom of the board is facing the floor
and the top of the board is accessible for soldering thru the sides of the power supply.
