I just picked 2 of these at guitar Center today AUG 30th, 2024 for only 499 they were on sale. What a killer deal so I picked up two of them read a lot of reviews on these and with 2 you can do 100 guest weddings with no problems

6:10 "Just like the MLS 900, remove your sub bag" NOT (one of my grips too) 🤣Travis, I own 4 of the MLS 900s. They work perfect for most of my venues. Love em. That stereo feature is the bomb. I remember the first gig I used them at, and when I heard the stereo seperation going from side to side, Wow! Something the audience may not even notice, but I did/do.🙂 Did not realize they were coming out with a newer version or would have waited and not bought the second pair. [ That 10" sub, and the bag ] Thanks as always for sharing.

I bought one Ms1000. After listening all day, I had to own a pair to experience that full range sound. I am very happy with Ms1000. It is very easy to set up and bluetooth connectivity is quick. This bad boy sounds great at any volume. I spent $1530 including the speaker cable to hook them up. These speakers are for home audio use. I am not a DJ but a crazy audio enthusiast. Remember to make adjustments to treble and bass volumes for best sound reproduction and volume levels.

Thanks for the video. I have (2) of the MLS900's and like them for certain work. I used them exclusively with an external mixer. However, for solo and duo artists who do not want to carry an external mixer, having reverb on at least 2 channels is a win and makes it much more useable in this scenario. Happy to see the 10" driver, the extra input and the sub cover.

I don't really like the way the long column parts seem to be connected: with plastic parts. These columns will sooner or later meet all kinds of impacts at a party/dance, like people holding on or walking into them, pushing them over. A plastic part can break and then the whole array has become useless. I have a pair of LD Systems Maui 11G2's for years now, an active portable column array made of plywood and aluminum. These use long metal pins in holes for the stacking and rigidity. Those metal connections can handle higher forces better I think.

Thanks for this review, Travis. I'm considering one of the MLS1000 because of its affordability. I am thinking of 2 different DJ scenarios with dance music (not live music or voice PA) where I might use it. 1) small-medium indoor bar events under 100 people and 2) small-medium outdoor parties, perhaps up to 100 people, but most likely under 100. Do you think these will function well enough? It sounds like 2 put put out bass enough an indoor wedding. Am wondering if that could be felt at all in an outdoor setting in particular. Thanks!

Purchased mls900 and was very disappointed. After connecting my Shure 98 mic the volume knob did not produce sound until it was turned up approximately 60 percent than at 70 percent sound came blasting out. Returned and tried another with same result. Then tried store model same result. Strange because my mls 800 works beautifully. As soon as you start to turn the volume knob it produces sound and slowly increases to max. Hope the mls 1000 has fixed this major problem. Price point is great if the unit functions properly. Will try out the 1000 and report findings.
