*Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*
Looks great, and with a brighter bulb installed that’s all the light you need. ru-vid.comUgkxWF88GpljEn-0o34vtLFazEQ5h5Q33SjU As far as ease of installation- this was my first ceiling fan and it took about 3 hours because I had no idea what I was doing and also it’s helpful to have a second set of hands and a magnetic drill bit. Works great.
Today August 14, 2018, we bought Harbor Breeze Hydra Ceiling Fan Model #41371 70”. We have a 9’ ceiling and box brings 6” rod which is too close to the ceiling and will affect the airflow. But we knew that so we bought a 12” rod separately to allow better air flow. Air flow works great for our space. However, there is a delayed start and the fan begins to go back n forth before it actually starts which is VERY annoying. Almost like a glitch. This video confirmed ours wasn’t broken its just how its made. So THANK YOU for making this video!!! In the middle of the night it began making a noise (metal on metal scraping). We brought the entire thing down n it comes from inside the motor. Returning it ASAP!!! OVERAL: 👍🏼Good Airflow (with longer rod sold separate) 👎🏼Cant use without remote 👎🏼Weird/Scary delayed startup 👎🏼Scraping noise
Thanks for the video. Can this fan be installed without the light fixture? Do they include the wiring harness and decorative cap for a no-light installation? Thanks
Could you elaborate on the receiver issue you mentioned in the video. My slinger fan has not passed the "test" near the battery. HB has since sent me a new receiver which I have yet to install. Just wondering if you had a similar issue. Thanks,
They told us that they were going to offer another lamp fixture. It is not bright enough for us. We discuss with the manufacturer and they agreed that many people complained about the light and that they were going to offer another version. But we never heard from them and we installed it 2 years ago.
Checkout the Fanimation Slinger from Lowes. You might like the light a bit better. Great fan with DC motor with 6 speeds. www.lowes.com/pd/Fanimation-Studio-Collection-Slinger-V2-72-in-Brushed-Nickel-Downrod-Mount-Indoor-Outdoor-Ceiling-Fan-with-LED-Light-Kit-and-Remote-Control-9-Blade-ENERGY-STAR/1000003376
Fans should be used in reverse during winter months. This takes the warm off from the ceiling and circulates it back to floor level. You don't want to blow air across your skin during winter.
