@@Farmradio Yeah, the cheap batteries in them when you buy them can corrode, but that's not what I mean. The LEDs themselves are so overdriven that they get dim by the time you use up the first set of batteries. By the third set, they are MUCH dimmer and individual ones will be either entirely out, or barely lit. I did notice a resistor in the one you have, but most of the ones that use these old style LEDs, just run with whatever the batteries will put out. Still, they are not designed for general lighting purposes.
