On the locking mini ratchet and extension, there is a line of dots on the extension to be matched up with dot on the reverse side (thumb side) to push through and then creates a T-handel for the bits. This is a direct copy of a Facom ratchet and set. Probably the same manufacturer also. The Facom set approaches $80, so yes this is a phenomenal deal.
I like the content. Would love to see Harbor Freight tool reviews. Music is a little distracting. I have the ratchet you noticed as recalled and haven't had any issues yet. But I haven't had it long enough to put any serious use on it.
Wow. So far so good on mine. I already took the snap ring out and greased inside and put it back together. Snap ring seems to have locked fine. Maybe it will hold. Good thing they are so good with their warranties though. @@DUMPTHETRUCK
Don’t know what it was, but the first 1/4” Quinn I bought had the handle upside down. White lettering on the bottom, no white on the top. Perhaps that was the problem, only aesthetic, but still…
