My son bought me one today, as my Christmas present. Im working on a bumper (fixing it ) & a trunk(mural)... He's tired of seeing parts of my cars on places for his study's.. by JUST PLAIN LUCK I found 5/16's in the first drawer I checked. I just found your channel & subbed too.I like doing my own things alone & as a single independent female I know I'll learn alot from you..Thank you so much.
Thats great! Thanks for the nice comments too 👍 these are very nice stands and i like how portable they are. I love to see women doing crafts, hobbies, or jobs that men do. If u need any help at all reach out to me and keep in touch! I will support u 100 percent 👍 thanks for watching and have a merry Christmas. ARCO
@@OutlawEdge I greatly appreciate it.I've been Binge watching your videos.Very very helpful..So NOW I've decided to make sheet metal radius brackets using painters tape(loved your idea) to get the under bumper shape for both sides of front bumper that cracked off both passenger & driver's side fenders I'll fix bumper also w Lord Fusor epoxy & then paint. I think it'll all be stronger then plastic weld. The metal brackets will give it strong hold to not ever break off again. I feel very Blessed to have found your channel..Your Awesome👍. Have a Merry Christmas,God Bless P.S. What would you suggest to glue the metal bracket to polypropylene bumper?
VERY Helpful since it came with NO Instructions whatsoever! I was gonna send it back until I saw your vid. If I could add a little hack: lightly spray the top of bars with a little lubricant first and the pads will slide on a ton easier. I used olive oil for lack of WD40 ;) THANKS SO MUCH!
I bought 2 of these today. Thank you for the video or else I probably couldn't have put it together myself! I put some soapy water on the tops so that the foam would slide onto the metal easier. I'm going to use them for our two 40lb kayaks.
stands like this are useful in any workplace. My wife has snatched one of several of this kind of stand and we use them for everything. She is short so I made the one she is using where its not so tall ! Buy some of these and your only problem is that you need more !
I have a bunch of those type of stands. I made my own out of 3/4 conduit, and pipe insulation. That way the pipe is all one piece. I'm a tight a++ and like to cut out the middle man when I can. Keep up the good work....
Good tip!! We have 4 of those exact stands and they work great!! The problem I've seen is the eye bolt/hooks for the chain aren't long enough and the threads are usually garbage, along with being metric... but overall they are a good stand!
Thanks for the video! Just a suggestion but what I did was put the big washer in the center in between the legs. Seems to serve the same purpose as the 5/16" nuts that you used.
I bought one of those this past summer when i was working the rear fender on my stepside. it worked great. they also work good as saw horses on wood working projects. double duty. and the price is right. i need to get a couple more.
Thank you for this helpful video 👍 Just put together mine which harbor freight give me a hook with no tread for one of the bolts. Had to improvise nevertheless a very great product.
Hey brother thanks for that mod(nut), I was fixin to assemble mine tomorrow and thought I would check YT for a "how to" video😁!!! Thanks again. New Subscriber!!👍👍
The thing I like about Harbor freight is if there tool's break they will exchange it with no questions asked. Try that with "SNAP ON" or other name brand tool's they want or off of purchase who keeps resettes that long
