Thanks bro , I build up the same business in my country, West Africa. I am the first to have a mobile car wash . The only problem I have now is that I need a steamer for car details, unfortunately, in my country we don't have amazon to order staff. That's my little experience I am facing right now. Have a great day
Great job Ant!!!!! Very professional work & audio like always. Like you said, you don't need expensive tools and products to do a great job. You just need experience, patience & be smart with your money. Slow is smooth & smooth is fast. It's a Business, learn to 5's it. Sort Shine Straighten Standardize & Sustain it. Thanks Ant , you're detailed oriented with a touch of OCD💪🏿
I started with makita! Because that's the cordless tools i already had! But im not going to lie! My power wash harbor freight! My generator harbor freight! My rotary polisher and orbital polisher harbor freight! An yes you will start seeing what you need an dont need! And what you use an dont use! Start cheap and work your way up! Love the video
Anthony, you've motivated me more than you know. I had some crap luck with my harbor freight steamers- yes they are fine. Out of necessity I got a mcculloch 1385. Its better because like you, I steam a lot. Try it- you wont be sorry.
@@AAProfessionalServices I got ya. I finally got the warranty on the harbor freight, it died first use which is not typical. Went to return it and the number on the steamer didn't match the receipt, the SKU number. I called up to the district manager, didnt get a call back! Again- its a freak thing to happen I had to order something so i got the Mc. I then went to return the HF again and i tore up the sticker and THEY TOOK IT BACK no problem lolololol
I get where you're coming from and don't forget to always keep your options open. You don't need expensive stuff however you may need expensive stuff to meet a greater demand at some point.
How many hours do you allow for interior only And how much is it. I have a package similar to this which includes exterior. Wash and all in one polish. It’s alloyed 4 hours (give or take) for $250 for a car.
Most detailers use high end products just for views nothing else , I opened up my business going on 5 months now, got the basics and I haven’t stopped working yet using basic products as long as you know how to use them you get the same result
haha "Your name could be mentioned with some of the best" Bro - ain't nobody sitting around talking about the greats of car detailing. Ain't no hall of fame for detailers. It ain't like sports where individual accomplishments are recorded and compared. ANYONE can be great at detailing.....all it takes is hard work and attention to details. PERIOD
Do that steamer and just a towel really clean really dirty material??? Can you really just wipe down and clean? I've been debating on should I good one to hopefully cut my interior cleaning down by 20 minutes
@@AAProfessionalServices thank you another question if you don’t mind I’m looking to start my detail business within the next few months your taxes is it a 1099 self employed type? And do you need a LLC or An INC?
As a 64 year old detailer and small cleaning business owner I totally agree with your advice because you are using wisdom and common sense when it comes to business. Awesome video brother.
Do you scrub/clean the leather seats or cloth in your standard detail ? Do you clean the little railing under the seats ? What spots don’t you get in you standard detail compared to your full detail ?
You made a nice video and made some good points, only thing I would say is I'd love to see specifically how you use the steamer and what stains it can remove
