This last stretch of this trail has been more rock than dirt. I had broke one outrigger and back with new ones now. I am still beyond impressed at the capability of this backhoe. Worth every penny.
I ran out of GoPro battery so the end shows the finished trail.
Enjoy!!!

Thank you sir. I've been waiting but I'm going to do a pond binge soon on the videos. It's awesome what you're doing with that.

Man it looks like you are on an archealogical dig there! That stone you dug up definitely looks like it was cut/chiseled by man...it was rectangular like a big brick. Along with the big stones in the right of the screen....I wonder if someone made a retaining wall there long ago?

I never even thought about that. Now you say that there was a lot of rectangular. I appreciate you noticing that. We have not used a metal detector there yet and that area definitely had civil war activity. I will look at it more detail when I go back next weekend. Thanks for that!!

@@potjoutdoors3368 Wow, I wasn't even thinking about all of the civil war items that you might find there, especially if there were battles/camps in that area. I was thinking more like medieval times etc. I had just watched this cool video about a team excavating at the remnants of an old castle, so I guess that why I was thinking that. Check it out if you have time...it's really interesting and as the dug they realized that so many of their assumptions about the castle were wrong. The lay of the land was different back then as they discover, it's a pretty cool video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ogyczf4eRPk.html Yep a metal detector would be interesting to bring out there for sure! Thanks for the videos with the excavator man, I really enjoy them and it's good to see what they are capable of. I have been wanting to get one but the price keeps going up and up. I am thinking about importing one directly from China. I am digging the Metallica too, it seems fitting for the work that is going on lol. Take care buddy, good luck treasure hunting! Here is another video of a rock wall that they discovered in California that stretches over 50 miles and could be 400 years old. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8FCl2lbRvWY.html

Dude!! Doing some serious work on the ole HF Hoe. I am about to tackle a similar project in the woods of Oregon. I'm just torn on either the HF Hoe or the Betstco due to the controls. How much of a pain in the ass is the 4 control setup? Thank you for the vids!!

Me personally, I think the controls are really easy. Yeah it is slow compared to expensive backhoes. But the compromise is well worth it in my opinion. I have nothing negative to say about it considering the price point. I forget how much the Betsco costs but I thought it was significantly more. I hope this helps you and thank you for liking the vids buddy!

Ok I purchased the Betstco. $4,000 and added the thumb attachment which was an extra $250 and very flimsy. Broke it rather quickly lifting logs to chainsaw mill. A few gussets later, it’s solid. For the machine itself, I’m digging it. Readied a pad for shop, lifted logs to mill, and building a similar trail on a steep incline for dirt bikes.

was that a rock that you dug and moved or a log?

It was a rock I believe. I have moved some logs too though.
