Dig a hole next to your rock deeper than the rock and tumble it in. Put fill on top and rock is gone for a good long while.

Hello Dave, I was very happy to see another video so soon. Yippy …. that big stone pulled out like nothing! It’s truly amazing the power that hydraulics develop. Such a cool little digger, I’m diggin’ it man! 😎👍 See you soon, be blessed, God bless my friend.

Put some sliding spikes on the outriggers so it will dig into the ground with the tires as they are. An put a piece of plate where the bend is to strengthen it?

you may want to consider this .... think of your bucket as a gooseneck, as in a gooseneck trailer ... get a piece of pipe, cut it so it fits over your center tooth, and weld a plate to it that will fit well against the back of your bucket and bolt it to your bucket .... slip the pipe over your towing vehicles ball and there ya go .... you can make a lock ring like a real gooseneck hitch has if you want to, but if you drive steady the weight of the machine will keep the pipe on the ball ... and putting the thing on the ball is a piece of cake since it is your bucket that moves any way you want it to that will be connected to the tow vehicle .... maybe use a bungee to keep it snug ...... i have towed mine this way many a time on the property ..... i would not suggest running it down the highway like this at all .... just remember to make the pipe long enough so the outer teeth clear the hitch when turning
@sparkys506adventures4
@sparkys506adventures4 6 месяцев назад
I actually put the bucket in the back of my side by side and move it around that way ...bit of downforce on the digger lifts the outriggers off the ground and I can drive it all around the property like that ...some of the other videos of it show me moving it that way
@bozowinslo
@bozowinslo 6 месяцев назад
@@sparkys506adventures4 excellent ... maybe build something like a large plate with a pipe to set the center tooth into so you don't hurt the sidebyside bed .... but you got the idea ... good deal

I myself have had a similar machine for a few years and it really is a powerful machine. I added approx. 50 kg of the tractor's front weights to the back as a counterweight and it stabilizes the machine a lot.

We have to pay $160 a ton to buy rocks like that. Use it in your landscape - it’s a good looking rock. A good way to pull up rocks buried like that is once you have it tipped up, jump off the digger and throw dirt or something under it so it doesn’t keep rocking back into the same hole. Good idea on the upgrade.

Making those bends so the tires sit back further makes sense to me. Altho not sure if the heating & bending will make the steel more weak in thr long run. I think once bent when ur using the outriggers for digging, you'll have a lil more stability when it's "dug in". That's what I c but whatta I know .. 😊🤷🏼‍♀️ At least u got that "boulder" moved, u met ur goal👍🏼 Btw: agree with another comment .. gotta keep ur eyes on those tires when digging. Im sure they weren't cheap.

Great work I had one of those seat in my hands and put it down now I get to pay full price or wait for a sale, your caster idea is great i will incorporate it into mine and the down riggers are not left or right specific save your back and just flip it over no need to switch sides. I did buy the landscape bucket which makes a difference on the bigger rocks and smoothing out the ground with no teeth gouging things, keep the videos coming maybe I will put my own????? maybe

For a bare bones machine , this does well. I don't understand why people have a problem with these small machines. If you enjoy owning & using it then there is very little left to be asked. I have a backhoe that is way bigger than this but it's still a toy compared to something like a Case 580. Each to their own & thanks for the video.

I wouldn't bend your plates you gotta angle on. Those wheels already turn the angle to the front and it should make your wheels high enough and perfect enough. Do it work just turn your angle on the metal bracket that you build towards the front of it
@russellyoung2900
@russellyoung2900 Год назад
I'm not sure if straightening the outriggers is the best approach. Doing that would reduce the amount of "digging" they will do. I think adding a L shaped bracket to accomplish the caster effect, plus retaining the effect of digging into the dirt to maintain the digging ability. Just a thought

rather then bend outrigger plate, I think you would be best if you modify the wheel brackets so they allow the tires to be level with ground. I think bending current outrigger plates will affect your machine in working dig mode. Just my thought, great shows though.😊
@shanesdiy
@shanesdiy Год назад
You might consider mounting the caster wheels on the square tube behind the "claw". If you bend that plate down the points may not dig in to the ground enough to hold you in place. Great upgrades, had my eye on one of these types of units for a while. Toss a couple small hydraulic motors on the rear wheels and add control levers so you can just drive it around in transport mode...

Why switch out rigger from one side to the other if you are lifting the end from the centre? You have both sides airborne- just flip the out riggers over. Less pain and work. Work smarter, not harder.

It is only a matter of time before you nail one of those outrigger wheels with the bucket or a rock. It might be better to just have seperate wheeled outriggers. If you had a bolt on thumb you could have picked up that rock and moved it. That is a tiny rock compared to what I have moved,
@j.w.3345
@j.w.3345 Год назад
Not really room for a thumb on that. Even if it had one, it wouldn’t pick up a rock that size.
