I've met Dez several times and he was always very respectful to fans. Wouldn't be the first time his passion and heart for the game and the Cowboys was mistaken for anger or "being an asshole".

His talent WAS undeniable. He's past his prime and was not a technician of the game so he doesn't have that to fall back on. His personality can cause problems in the locker room and thats why Dallas cut him. I think if he goes to the right team he may be able to stay in the NFL for a few more years. If not it doesnt look good for Dez which is really sad.

Frank Faz You’re wrong man, the media absolutely shit on Dez for ridiculous reasons. Consider this: 2014: Most everyone agreed Dez was a top tier receiver and he caught that shit lmao 2015: Tony Romo injured all year, had to rely on abismal QB play from Matt Cassell, Brandon Weeden etc. 2016: Romo injured again, this time he had Dak and Zeke though, Dez got injured missed a couple games and wound up with just under 1,000 yards, which the media used against him, even though he was averaging over a 1,000 yard season in the games he did play.. this was NOT a bad season for Dez 2017: Not a good year for Dez, but you have to understand that Dak is NOT as skilled a passer as Romo. Dak wasn’t putting the ball where it needed to be, and having Zeke miss 6 games put way more pressure on him making everything more difficult. Watch some film, watch Dez highlights, forget the media narratives thrown around and actually analyze the stats. He is a STUD wide receiver and if he can wind up with a capable QB he will remind those who forgot, including a lot of my fellow Cowboys fans.

@@overthetoppranks 2014 was 4 years ago which is a lifetime in the NFL. Dez has also been injured quite a bit since then. He doesn't have the same speed he had before. He can't get separation and since he lacks the explosiveness he once had he is no longer as effective. Even if we look past that, he had the most drops in the NFL last season. Sure some of that was on Dak but when a ball hits you in the hands you have to make the catch. Period. Let's put all that aside and just focus on his personality. I saw the Amazon special on the Cowboys. He would argue with coaches like if they didn't know shit. He felt like he was always right and didn't take instruction well. Not only that but when he was cut he showed his true colors and went after his ex-teammates calling them snakes and saying they didn't want him around and they were conspiring to get him off the team. That really hurt his chances of signing with another team. Nobody wants a character like that on their team man trust me. If the Browns the worst team in football period pass on you that's not a good sign. I hope he can keep his career going but it's not looking good.

Frank Faz You make some good points. He should have kept his mouth shut about Stephen Jones and his former teammates, even if he was right. And I agree his skills have declined from 2014 no doubt, and a few of those drops last year were totally inexcusable. But I know he will find a team to sign with and if he has his head in the right place the man is fully capable of bouncing back and having 2-3 more good years in my opinion
