Hopefully, Papua New Guinea will do well in the Rugby League World Cup, which begins in just over a month's time in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, itself. Good luck to all the teams in competition for the ultimate prize.

My great uncles were the one that discovered the highlands and my grandfather helped found the lahanis

Might have exaggerated a bit there about how rugby league is big in Png. We all follow NRL on TV nowadays. The PNG NRL has lost a lot of followers. Wasn't like the days when I was growing up in the late 90s and early 200O's But we've seen a lot of improvements in the past couple of years so the future of rugby league in Png is looking good.
