A surprising new volca with a possibly record-breaking number of features per volume. But not only the feature density, also the sound of the implemented drum synthesizer is amazing. In fact, this little box not only competes with established plugins, it also challenges hardware instruments that live in a completely different price range. After the review, starting at 7:55, you'll find an explorative jam, where I tried to demonstrate most of the sound shaping possibilities while playing one of the factory patterns. The volca drum sound you hear is pure, no external EQ, compression or FX, and also no limiter. So you may need to dial the volume knob to your preferences.
