Hard To Say I'm Sorry / You're The Inspiration / Glory Of Love - Peter Cetera (Live) 2008 Hit Man David Foster & Friends (2008) Recorded at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV 4K 5.1 Surround Sound
Peter Cetera is one of the great musical treasures of this century. Apart from his magnificent voice, I always respected that the reason why he stopped touring with Chicago, was to concentrate on his family and being a husband and father. That's a great human being.
@onkelmarvin8360 haha you're funny, man. He's been writing for 60 years so let's assess the first 20 years then? That alone is enough. Cetera is the US equivalent of UK/Ire Chris De Burgh or maybe Sting.
@@da_great_mogul I never made a comparison Mate ?? My point was exactly what you wrote the time periode. He was in The Beatles and Wings, and they were both great....years ago, but like Metallica, U2, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Depeche Mode, Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd, their best music is behind them, and they´re living of their name.....like Paul. He`s an Icon...........but even Icons runs out of ideas........such is life......😁
Peter, you're my dad's favorite musician. Dad and I have spent almost all our working days listening to you in our commute. Peter, I love my dad so much. He's having trouble and living in pain. An motovehicle accident and surgeries tore and wore him down.. I don't know how much or many more years I have with him? Maybe somehow you could reach out with hello to him as a friendship type of hello. He's been so meek and quiet to honor peaceful living all his life he never fought or disturbed others. As a daughter I want him to have a chance to be a personal fan of yours in real time in his life nowadays.
I knew his songs because my dad used to sing them and even had a song book with the lyrics of Peter's songs. Missing my dad so much. He died last October, 2019.
When your voice is still so melodic and beautiful at the age of 64, you know that you have been blessed by God. Peter Cetera is an iconic singer, and take note young people, because talent like this only comes around once in a generation!
much respect for David Foster - ICON that he is. The humility he carries with such incredible gift, anointing, talent. And here just now .. Peter wowww!!! LOVE soo much. March 2024
I'm BACK with the girl who for me has ALWAYS been THE ONE. Thank you Peter and your former bandmates for the soundtrack of a romance 40 years in the making.
He MADE Chicago!!! I was sooo close, next door performing dress rehearsal for H.S. lay and was told if I went to Concert, I'd b out of play my Sophomore year.....but I heard him next door!! 😢
His voice sings his own backup voice at times…it almost sounds autotuned but without autotune…amazing. Some of my favorite songs from my childhood were sung by Peter Cetera
Peter Cetera the best vocalist I have heard in my existence in this sad world. Of course, when he sings makes sadness to elation. Listening to his songs makes you float, a heavenly feeling..
David Foster is just an amazing Producer conductor etc. unbelievable. I was a baby when this song use to play in my show horses barn and my dad use to pick me up and spin me around before practice. Peter’s voice never changed!!
It seems like yesterday when I was cruising around in my dad’s 59 Ford listening to these songs. Thank you for the wonderful memories. We were just young kids having fun. It’s hard to believe that I’m 70. Maybe in my body, but my mind is still 17!- Susan
When life is falling apart, remember, after every darkness, the light comes. No matter how bad you feel, never lose hope. Face every trial with courage. I wish you a great day.
That is because he is lip-syncing and has backing tracks. Still super talented. He starts the songs really singing but then the lead vocal tracks kick in and he is just singing along to produced recording. 1:23 he is really singing 2:02 he is singing along with a pre-recorded track (If you’re wanting an example of what I’m referring to)
I just started and have to pause to comment. This was one of the first 45's i ever had as a child. I remember this song so vividly from listening on my Care Bears record player. Wow how times have changed, but the feelings i get from these songs and the sound of his voice Just pure nostalgia...
I don't know how 'Chicago' gets along without Pete's voice or presence or bass playing for that matter. David Foster came up with exactly the right music for Pete's vocal prowess. We should hold onto this most creative and artistic music.
I have always loved this mans voice. His pitch is wonderful his tone sublime and instantly recogniseable. And to still be doing it in his 60's shows he has really looked after his instrument, and is a country mile above many of his peers from his hit-making days.
With Chicago being my city, I fell in love with the band named the same. Peter Cetera is a crucial part of my childhood. One of my favorite singers. Thank you for your music, Peter.
