Lad I'm sick of being treated like a second class citizen in my own city, let alone my own country. Foreigners are always put ahead of our own.

It’s a shame, I lived in Lime Street, Kenny and old swan from 97 to 2001 and loved it. It was rough and ready, but fun, with a sense of community and we had some cracking neighbours, the old guard and a decent crack down the pub. I visited recently and, as you and the fellas said, the community seems to have gone, the soul seems to have been torn out by the government and council - just hope it stops before it goes too far. Much respect tho Billy, much respect to Liverpool and the quality scousers too 🙏🙏

These Scouse Men you are talking to are really articulate and passionate about their city. What a pity Liverpool Council aren't investing time speaking to them and their community and finding out what they need.

almost forgot, another good thing i seen, at the top of the lancs the bus depot over the rd from big smyths superstore, they have a good little community thing going on there, the waste ground by the bus depot/stops. They growing loads of fruit n veg and have a table once its ripe n picked it goes on table in boxes and u can help ur self. Good idea everybody should be doing that

Proper Liverpool fellas you interviewed Bill, Don't miss nothing ! Everton Vally ? Me Late father's Old stomping ground years and years ago, alot of tough but grounded people lived up that end, hard but fair ! life was hard back then oh i , but folk looked out for each other though thick and thin.

Its sad that so many on here speaking the truth and facts about immigrants being given houses and priority over our locals. When i say sad i mean the fact they have to preface it by saying im not racist, they shouldn't have to feel bad for speaking the truth and in no way is it being prejudice. In many countries around the world a job has to be advertised locally for a period and if a local dpesnt take it then its offered to an immigrant, doesnt happen here though quite the opposite. In America to become a citizen you have to speak the language and answer questions on history of country and pledge allegiance to the flag and rightly so. Many here cant speak a word of English dont want to work don't want to mingle with locals but still get new homes and thousands in grants. Im all for immigration i lived and married a yank for 13 years, i didnt get one ounce of help from government i had to pay 10k to get a green card and never took a penny of the state i put money into it and worked tge whole time, for the first yr or 2 my friends were English and a few scousers but over time all my closest friends were American who to this day many years later im back in the pool but speak weekly to 3 or 4 of my good friends there still. So basically i lived exactly like the locals which is how America was founded. I dont see that here at all with immigrants moving to our neighbourhood there not interested in our customs or way of life just whats in it for them. Ive also spent a year in Germany and had German friends ive lived in Thailand had many Thai friends. I dont see the point in moving abroad and just hanging with English thats why i left here lol.

I honestly believe It’s all part of a bigger plan started years ago an a major plan takes decades to implement if you look at the history of Liverpool it quickly become a power house only second to London the capital and the powers that he didn’t want a north an city to over take it in terms of wealth an power the slave trade the shipping the poets the writers the sportsman a pure creative hub because of our hero graphic location to the americas from a little boggy marsh to the world most important and biggest port with an influx of foreign people all bringing together different cultures but not in a detrimental way to the city like now the merchants who made fortunes to fund the like of the walker art gallery at George’s hall the miles and miles of dock land from a very humble little handful of streets into a bustling thriving town into a city in such a short period of time then they take the model of places like Harlem in the USA and see how that was once a rich city thriving an how the government didn’t like that either an filled those streets with drugs an crime to the point it’s dangerous as fuck same as they died to Chicago probably to most dangerous notorious city is the US the powers that he know full well what they are doing as long as they elite have their private land living in a bubble fuck the rest of the working class we are all just modern day slaves to fund them with taxes

I'm a bit mixed here Bill. My early life was in that area and the community was fine as long as you tolerated what went on. As for the impact of migrants on areas. Who isn't a migrant because us scousers are pure migrant stock. I haven't seen 5 star hotels full of them myself, but obviously these lads must have. Our proud city has always been a home to migrants through history. Dog whistle racism is blaming them for our demise. Did you remember migrants under Thatcher's attempts to manage decline us? I didn't either. Homelessness has many causes. I've worked with them. Some sad stories and situations, but also not paying your rent with the money given to you for that rent were also reasons for eviction. I'll probably get ripped for this post, but open your eyes to the real reasons. Read wider than the rag mags and toxic news and you'll see the real reasons for poverty. Migrants don't take your home if you never had one. Also, remember Bournemouth and the South Coast scouse invasion? We took over there and thought 'scousers aren't we'. Soho st the famous squares good people hard working came from there . I don’t see much wrong with the area. I visit on a daily basis langy etc the issues are those that get a new start bring there past with them old users etc then there comes hassle then community breakdown lies and it wasn’t me . To that lad in the video who mentioned the foreigners , dont forget that Liverpool was always a city of immigrants. Irish , Caribean etc , just look at the Irish family names in Liverpool and I read recently that 70% of Scousers can trace there ancestry back to Ireland. So , mate , we were all immigrants at one time.
