I don't get that guy in the middle, why is it that you have to say if you like more B or T. Each has something I like, so why can't I like both? In reality it depends on the mood and the person. There are ppl I would never B for and ppl who I would never think of Toping. I identify as a vers top because my default is top with probably 70% of ppl. I also don't like and will never date a power top or pure top. I think if you only top and can't bottom, then there is something wrong with you and I have no interest in indulging your fantasies. I flip for you, you gotta flip for me ;) So this is really complicated.... There is a lot more to it than just being a T or a B or a V. :)

56 year old Dutch straight woman here (again). I am always sooooo enjoying your talks! You give me stuff to think about every time. This time it’s about why it would be shameful to be a bottom. Do you think it could have something to do with being looked at as the ‘woman’ in the relationship? That would sound a bit discriminatory to me, but still makes sense as women with a healthy sex drive are still regarded as a bit slutty these days. And women are also still seen as the weaker, inferior party in many cultures. Anyway, keep doing what you’re doing, please!

Very true!! Typically in Asian countries sometimes the stereotype of being the Woman in the relationship means being seen as feminine and weak etc… which is very much not true! Though times are moving forward and things are getting better some men still have this stigma going on! In both straight and gay communities

that an erectile dysfunction is also on the rise-many men are bottoms only because they can't get it up but it's something that is affecting lots of men and is happening but currently taboo to talk about. Moreover, it affects white men the most-it's hard to find a white guy who is a top after age 25. Most tops now are actually men of colour.

Exactly! Enjoy the chemistry regardless of "role." We get so hung up on assumed traits of these roles rather than the vibe of the person. Tops don't have to be dominant anymore then bottoms have to be submissive.

As far as bottoms being shamed, we do have to start understanding that people have a right to their opinion and can't help what they're attracted to. It isn't wrong for a gay man to not like a feminine man bc they like men after all. That isn't saying there's anything wrong with a feminine man, but you have to find the one who accepts you for you. It may just be harder for you but that's life, and you can't be mad at people for having preferences. Now to actually say anything more than I'm not attracted to you is wrong as you don't have to make fun of feminine guys, but the fact that they aren't as desirable is no one's fault.

Is Top , Verse or Bottom so important ? This has to change not for any reasons but not to give mainstreams that Gays are for the SEX ONLY. Gays should instead promote a more wholesome relationship , togetherness , love , financial practicality and the reality of staying as a couple.
