I know this sounds stupid, but I have one of these and tried it and there's a part in the instructions where it says to STAY AWAY FROM WATER but then it mentions to be careful of the water being really hot so I'm so confused. Am I supposed to use water outside of the can or something? Also, it was super painful when I used it. It also only pulled out like 1/3 of the hairs and I went over my legs twice. HELP

Tip guys: when heating it up, don’t put it on a high setting, that will make it melt fast (which sounds like a good thing) but then you can’t catch it in time before it over melts and becomes liquidity... it’s supposed to have a slight thick consistency
