Oh my god I seriously enjoyed filming and editing this video, made all the better by being in great riding buddy company with Yann from Forty Something Rider, what an awesome dude, go check out our recent video on the Southdowns: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s73P1ucT4PM.html 🎥🤘
Cheers buddy, I really appreciate it ✊. I’m also waiting on the delivery of my replacement/warranty 905 frame (hopefully the 2022🙏🏻) as I found a crack in the drive side chainstay to bb weld back in January. Miss it like CRAZY 😩. Hope you enjoy your new trail weapon when it finally arrives. Stay safe and shred well 🤟👊
Hi Henri, cheers for checking my channel out 👍. Yann has become a great buddy and has such a great RU-vid style, hopefully our different views/styles complement each other, I’m proper stoked you enjoyed it. Stay safe and shred well 🤘👊
In my opinion, the HCHT is a true back to basics mountain bike. It quite simply makes you a better rider, not out of choice but rather necessity. I absolutely love the combination of HCHT and plus sized tyres... what a weapon it is🤘
It’s an MTB paradise and one I try to get to as often as possible. Say the word buddy, I’m happy to show you what I know once lockdown has passed. Stay safe and shred well 🤘🤙
Fun doesn’t even come close. Once lockdown is done get yourself and your buddies down there, you’ll love it. Shout if you need pointing in the right direction as it’s not a marked trail centre. Trail forks app helps lots though 👍
Cheers Mart 👍. The brakes are good but u found that for my riding style, I needed more power, so as a temporary measure, I up rated the rotors to 200 and fitted Uberbike race matrix pads which improved the power dramatically. However, I plan to increase the power further by swapping out to some quality 4pots. Enjoy your 2022 905, you’re gonna love it SOOOOO much. Stay safe and shred well 👊🤟
Great video. Really good for some one like me who is still new to the place. Hope to get there a bit more next year. Good to see some older riders having fun. Still loads to explore.
Thanks so much for your feedback and you’re right, it’s such a great place to shred. I too, will be riding there as much as I can. We’re having more fun/laughs than ever before and as for age, age is simply a number, I feel fitter and stronger than I did in my 30’s😜😂🤣. Stay safe and shred well 🤘
Hey there. Hardcore Hardtail is the style of bike, i.e. long cockpit, low BB and slack head angles, generally less than 66°. They are designed and built for all mountain/enduro riding and are also designed to be ridden aggressively. The bikes themselves are the Whyte 905 27.5 plus and are the 2018 & 2020 models.
