Hardcore Henry Part 12 - Henry Rigs the Tournament 

I was hoping to make it even more chaotic with some bandits and NPCs, but they had the terrible problem of vanishing too soon :( Oh well, running around dodging the poison sword was pretty fun, one of the rare times I decided to equip a shield.

Theresa was probably thinking, one bandit? How quaint, Henry can have it :P

I really did walk into that gem, I notice I haven't had a walk with her so why not give it a try :P

Yup, Black Peter was super angry and super perceptive. Trying to sneak up on him is a tough. Not impossible, but for some reason my Black Peter was on high alert all the time could not get close to him initially had to beat him up first :P

What! my Henry would not stoop so low in using poison...*has five poisoned blades in his bag* Well...shoot Maybe I am Black Peter :P

when you're at stealth 20 its buggy af because they do their social reactions sometimes but their targetting system can't see you unless you're directly in front of them

I am glad, that intro I was very on the fence about. I felt like it was not good enough, so I am glad that people enjoy it :P

I did love the Herald part so much, but honestly that took me awhile to get it right because the people he sleeps with did not like me stealing his stuff, it took longer than I like to admit :P

I honestly love the fact that if you're sitting down and talk to an NPC walking to the side of you the camera does a little funky thing :P No idea why it brings me so much joy there.

Ah thanks that means a lot :D Right now I do not mind growing slowly since I still got a few kinks to workout in sound and video editing. With this more niche audience you all are far more forgiving on mistakes here and there and pretty good at giving feedback on how to make things better :D

Witcher music is hard to not put it throughout the entire videos. It works really well in a lot of situations, plus most of the sound tracks they have are amazing. Well Witcher 2 and Witcher 3, I can speak about the first one (never played it).

Haha, after I finish Hardcore Henry series, I am hoping to have a full library of instances where people say Henry's name or Henry says his own name. Should make for some good RU-vid poop ;)

I really did like editing that part :P The camera swing is what made me want to do the whole bit.

It is possible, and if you know who are the last opponents are, you can just undress them then do the tournament. The downside to this method is that your "Ratta reputation" takes a hit from knocking these people out. But if you win the tournament at the start of the game and rig it, then you can rebuild that reputation quite easily ;)

I think you're correct on that. It is really hard to determine how much damage throwing them off a cliff does, but it does not seem much. I would really have to work to kill them by fall damage which seems odd since fall damage kills Henry fairly easy :P

I think that might of been about the new movie coming out? It is strangely similar to the timeline of what KCD is about. Not certain if they planned something like this...:P

Lmao fell from hill that was too steep, henry got both his legs destroyed, bleeding, hands crippled and had only 5% health left with entire screen red. It was just a 5 meters slide lol

@@ExtremeMan10 that happened to me, stuck on literally 1 point of hp…in fact instead of falling I was standing still in rattay. Waited until morning but was suddenly crippled when the waiting was over, 1 point of health and whole screen was red out of nowhere with a dead guy just laying next to me completely naked. It was still night too so it just kicked me out of the wait. It was on my first playthrough too, I was literally entering rattay for the first time

Luckily we probably have awhile before that happens, which means I will have enough time to finish this series. I am surprised how long I am still going on with it, but things just keep happening O.o'

You know, sometimes when I am editing I sometimes hit "esc" to try and skip and go, "oh right, this is the footage". And I do that sober :P

Black Peter was lucky he did not get shank by Theresa. This is why I stole all her clothes and weapons to save Black Peter a gruesome death :P

Everyone is fighting over Henry, even the guards!

i wish there was a mod that skipped the introductions and just let you get down to business.

The good part about those long intros is that I got a lot my backup texting and emails out of the way while doing this a few times ;) Otherwise it is ear grinding. I think I did the tournament 10-15 times to get the results I wanted or testing something out. (Like trying to escape from the tournament)

This is a real need! If someone could mod the speech down or cut out most of the pauses, it would be much better.

@@eldivorcio Glad you have been enjoying the series :D I honestly do not know until I start playing, but the further I go into the series, the more layers of jokes and very strange things keep happening. Its going to be sad once this series is finished.

It will be sad but i cannot wait to see what game you tackle next, if the experiences in KCD are anything to go off on, i know you’ll make more incredible content and i for sure will be down to watch even if its not my usual cup of tea

Well, Peshek can talk mad game and hype up people to bet on the wrong person and get some really good odds with Henry's money. But that does bring up a good theory on gambling places if they would pull the same, and just bet other people's money on a certain game they think its going to win just to make even more money! It would be devastating if they're wrong! But probably is a great way to make a ton of cash.

Theresa just could not stop saying it to Henry :P I was really hoping that Theresa would break as a quest if you kept the guy alive and her dialogue in a loop, but sadly she had enough and sat down.

I am glad about that. At first I was not certain if it felt intro worthy but was worth experimenting with :P

Thanks, the game is fun to break or sort of disjoint. Not many games let us have a bit of fun outside the main story. :P

Honestly it has been awhile since I have seen attack on titan, I am so far behind (well only two seasons), but I should get back into it. :P

I am glad you are enjoying the series, it has gone on about twice as long as I planned it to be already. There is so much to do in this game :P

Black Peter is no joke at times. Often I forget that he is not a normal bandit and just toy with him until I get hit with that poison and start pulling out the "Henry Tactics Rule Book" and go from there :P

That is true, I forgot what the actual crime they say you committed at that time? From what I remember its a generic line, like "Caught you! Now you will pay for your crimes", but not tell me what those crimes are.

Honestly, it is a great way to win if you can not get past the last couple people. You do not need to do everyone but only the end guy. The bad part of this besides a little time investment, is that it requires that you take a reputation hit with the Rattay locals, but honestly screw them, you're a tourny champion now :P

Sadly no :( As far as I can tell, the tournament people do not eat at all, this includes the Herald. Even damaging them with a poison arrow before cancels the tournament.

@@helicalgoose I was highly surprised he survived it lol. My Henry falls 5 feet and is bleeding and half dead.

@@trickyfoxx6941 The deceiving part about the jump is that there is a tiny cliff overhang on that spot I jumped. If you tap it, it resets the distance of your fall. The tumbling, thankfully does not count :P Now I will say that slopes are the most dangerous, if you dare go too fast Henry decided to do a bunny hop to his death :P

Oh that is a good one! I do keep forgetting Al-Buraq or all the horses have actual stories behind their names. I never knew what was the Witcher 3, Roach's reason for being a Demon horse sort of abilities?

That is a very good observation and makes the most sense why I could not follow him down after the tournament because I think that he is a doppelganger with different set. I was going to mess with him there but I got distracted as always :P I was trying to find a way to take black peter's body with me to meet black peter, but that proved to be a bit difficult. Guards were a bit peeved that I did something like that.

@@helicalgoose I carried him all the way to Samopesh to meet with the blacksmith, but he doesn't seem to react to him alive or dead. You can tell him that you didn't kill Peter though, then kill him, then tell him again for double reward. Was it worth carrying him all that way? No.

@@Ausf I am honestly glad you told me about this. I was about to try this out see if something happens, but luckily or unlucky it was late and thought best not to try to haul that guy all the way up :P

There is! And I want to know what is in it, but even looking through the old footage, I can not figure out how I slipped through the ground at the time or what I did. It almost seems like random holes swallows Henry up :P

Yes! I was trying to reproduce this so much but could not get it. You can keep the tournament armor if you can get a horse stuck in the corner then bring it into the ring, then kill it and undress yourself. Now the thing is that if you attack people outside afterwards the game kicks you out of the tournament but it flips out a bit if you put the clothes back on after taking them off and starting a new round. I am can not repeat it, but that is sort of the gist I was trying and I felt like I had to give up to be able to edit and put out this video :P

Mostly for funzies :D Like you said, its easier just to bash them all over the head a few masterstrikes to make a point. But this is another way to complete the match if you want. I do enjoy "alternative" ways to secure Henry's victories.

It is quite sad that he walks off into the sunset or disappear. I had problem getting him to spawn trying to get a walk with Theresa. You can not walk with her if it is raining. So I figure ill wait here for a couple days, but if you wait too long he disappears without fighting, so I had to play the random weather system a bit to find a short break in the rain to ask Theresa on a walk. Soooo annoying :P

Yah I am certain you're correct on this one. No idea why those connected beds give a high fail rate on knockouts. This even holds true with NPC's beds, whenever I see that I just huff and puff and start stabbing :P

Ehhh, sort of. The issue is that they do not undress, meaning you can not get their armor off them. If you knock them out, the problem occurs is that if someone finds the person is knocked out then the tournament is automatically canceled. You can carefully knock one person out at a time and place the body in areas that will not be found, but again this particular area has a guard patrol. Throwing them over the side of the wall gets rid of that problem since no guards patrol below. ;)

No, its the hardcore perk that makes you extra exceptionally weak to attacks that cause bleeding.

It might be the poison or the hardcore mode perks, whatever it is, my poor Henry is a paper tiger against that guy. :/

@@helicalgoose Anyway, I remember beating him in Rattay tourney then he started to follow me. I tried fighting with him but as his sword is poisoned it was very difficult to fight with him after some tries I found a way to sneak past him then I killed him, looted him, dumped his naked body in the river and fired countless arrow on him, I was so pissed of him 😀

That is interesting...I would say it probably belongs to the Rattay Tailor. I mean what else is he doing during the day? Not freaken being at his shop!

Interesting... My money is on Hans Capon; Nobody would bat an eye lid if he asked for a hunting lodge to be built, he likes the ladies and seems to enjoy killing things 😄

@@Gimboid79 I saw that. People posted similar thing on reddit and it seems to be a buzz about. I am still sort of waiting till I see a game trailer before I hop onto the band wagon. ;) Plus if it does come out it will not be until August until we see it at earliest sooo, there is a ton of time in between but I am excited for it! :P

Ye I'm not counting my chickens but it's at least something to give us hope!

That might not be a bad idea later on once I finish all this good stuff :D I have been avoiding mods for fear of ruining my old save files all around, but that might be worth going through sometime.
