I agree 👍 💯 👏 there are ALOT of times i think Seth acts like a complete jerk but on this occasion he did amazing im sure his job is not easy and getting all the criticism from this show from us im sure is difficult but this time I feel it showed us a side of Seth that he doesn't show often so GOOD JOB SETH that was really sweet and caring
I can see where Ashley is coming from with her dad and Karen she feels unappreciated by her father and then Karen comes along and les is praising her constantly something he does not do to his daughter often so I can see why she feels hurt but at the same time its not karens fault she is really trying to do a good job and get along with everyone especially Ashley I don't think Ashley hates her cousin outside of work but working together Ashley definitely dislikes Karen mainly because of the way les treats Karen more like a daughter than he does Ashley his own daughter im saying this cause I feel this is the way Ashley sees it
Ashley really did quit. That was the final episode of the show. She has been running her own jewelry store since and she even looks healthier. She states she could not be any more happy. Les and Seth are still running the shop today and both say they are happy for Ashley. Ashley had "quit" over a fit several times before the show was even a concept and even "quit" once in the earlier seasons. She never wanted to be a part of the family business, she wanted complete control of everything. Now that she has her own business, she has just that.
Working in retail for so many years I don’t understand how people don’t understand that receipts are the key to all your problems always keep your receipt 😅
Seth helping out the couple with the two guitars makes me cry every time I see it. I’ve been a professional musician almost my entire life. And when he originally offered $1800 for the two….Honestly I was a bit upset. B/C guitars like those, (if maintained), are worth more the older they are. And in fact I have one of the few 1963 Gibson solid body’s left, we don’t plan on ever parting with it. Also, I have a Gretsch solid body, (circa 1956) and it is in fact white with the gold brads and with the gold Bigsby bar. So my faith was renewed when Seth called them back in and gave them more money. B/C we all know Les could sell bibles at a strip joint and make a profit. So I KNOW he’s going to make sure to make a killing off of this family’s tragedy. I personally would’ve just given the guitars back to them, AND donated to their personal crisis. And not do it on camera, I mean we know folks go in there with all kinds of stories, and probably 85% of them are BS, but this one wasn’t one of them I don’t think. I hope they’re doing well these days. But We’ll Done Seth! Cheers
Best scene was her quitting that job!! She was treated so poorly there, especially by her brother!! And she has done amazing things since then. Pray that her relationship with her brother has improved since as the constant face to face interaction was most likely the cause of issues
Wow to see Seth step up the way he did was really cool with the folks with the beautiful guitars. It was nice to see usually he's quite frugal with his offers but I can't blame him when he'll be an owner/partner in the business with the rest of the family and you're trying to make money.

@blackie8083 I just figured out that Seth said: "Thank God!" after he sold those shoes along with the jerseys. I think I know why... Because his employee Dennis said that shoes were the hardest sports items to sell in the Sports Memorabilia section inside American Jewelry and Loan.
Seth is spoiled but deep down, he has a soul. Ashley is the person that would try to cheat an only mother thar tries to feed her children. Rude, obnoxious, smart-ass, and a control freak. Les and Seth don't need her
Ashley got so Jealous as she look around and heard all the appalauses from the staff for Karen. As Ashley knew she'll never get any of those Appalauses from any 8f the Employees. Here Ashley goes QUITTING AGAIN.. She quits every other week..Ashley is not Professional. She has no Customer Service appeal. Sad how Jealous Ashley is of her own cousin because Karen is very intelligent.She has Excellent Customer Service skills.
It's hard for me to imagine this being real, but then again it's hard for me to imagine everyone on this show being good enough actors for it not to be real lol. SMH
I hate to say it, @carmensandiego328. But I agree with Seth and Les in that scene, This was Ashley's fault in that scene! Who the Hell is going to come in to American Jewelry and Loan and buy a toilet?! That's disgusting!
Felt bad for Ashley. All she wants to do is have a relationship with her brother and his cold hearted response was I’ll give u a apology. Common dude. That’s your sis. Appreciate her. I’m glad my brother and I got along because he was my only sibling when he died I didn’t have any regrets about how I treated him because I always treated him well.
It was really nice to see Seth help those people with the guitars… kindness counts. A Random Act of Kindness is giving your best self to others without requests or promise of return on investment. It's simply doing something nice for someone else, without them asking and without you doing it for anything in return. Seth did just that❤️
Because it makes for good drama. They call this "reality" TV, but it's probably "scripted," based on things that have really happened. As for the behind the scenes stuff... Pure Fiction!
Ashley was never my favorite person in the series of Hardcore Pawn because she had bad customer service and her cousin Karen had better customer service than Ashley. I couldn't stand Ashley when this show used to air on TV.
ASHLEY will be so very JEALOUS. BECAUSE ITS NOT HER IDEA. ITS BETTER THAT AN IDEA YOULL EVER HAVE ASHLEY. WITH OR WITHOUT YOU ASHLEY IT WILL BE A SUCCESS.
I can get around a little with a cane, but my lack of endurance keeps me frequently in a wheel chair. (Cancer patient, not obesity). Hopefully, you'll never need to experience that.
Seth overcompensates soooooo much to try and make up for everything he is lacking. It’s insane. It’s literally just mind blowing how he acts. I don’t know if he’s just trying to make up for his just weird/odd looking face or if he truly is just that far out of touch with reality to think acting that way is ok.

Ashley has not done in years since she's been at the store. . Never comes up with an idea. She's very rude to customers. She's very Mean to Karen.
The temper tantrum Ashley threw over the Circus idea. And the way Les praised Karen was not only RIDICULOUS, but I think it was all FAKE AND STAGED for the show. I mean YES Ashley is an infant and has to be babied every 5 minutes, but it was just too odd and dramatic.
@duckman23 Ever since Hardcore Pawn premiered and used to air on TV, I could not stand Ashley either! She was never my favorite. Because she has absolutely no customer service, which are bad and she tossed the customers out of the store in a very bad attitude. While Karen had excellent customer service and she asked either Byron or Hook in a very nice way to throw the customers out of the store.

Used to watch this years ago with the kids (who thought it was hilarious). Gutted and felt _really_ stupid when I learned that every move, line and scenario is 100% scripted…still amusing to watch though 😆
That pole was lit , and they said it was homade if they actually made those for a business they’d make a crazy amount. $190 def wasn’t enough, it was super sturdy. And you can put it up and take it out
Good for Ashley, that she stuck to her guns and did not give in to not being able to work with that other person which actually freed her up to make a new life decision, and get the heck out of where she was being treated like dirt by some of those rotten customers who thought they all they had to do is scream I wanna talk to a man manager, I don’t wanna talk to you or whatever the situation was. Good for her and her new life. I had a job like that once and when I left it, I felt like a new human being.
