Three suspected hitmen accused of killing B.C. Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar have been arrested.
The RCMP took the three Indian nationals into custody on Friday, more than a year after Nijjar was gunned down at the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple in Surrey, B.C.
Nijjar’s murder was the culmination of a years-long campaign by the Indian government that sources have described to Global News at “coercive” and “incompetent.”
Jeff Semple has more on a Global News investigation into the Indian government’s campaign against the B.C. Sikh leader.
