We find the Hardest Downhill Trail! Big wheel lifts steep hills Toght hairpins! And a new defender mixes with the Big Boys #offroad #4x4 #adventure #video
Yeah it’s got a extra height setting which the vehicle does it’s self once all 83 emu’s work out what it needs to do! Was a good test for the defender Simon (the driver) drove it very well really good control and that traction control works amazing!!
I would absolutely love to meet up with you guys and put my new L460 Range Rover to the test! I mean whats the point in having such a vehicle if not to put it to the test and have some fun every now and then? Great video as always...👍🙂👍
Wow thanks for the comment! Your more than welcome to join us! You can contact me through Instagram or join our Facebook group. 👍 look forward to hearing from you! 👍
If its financed or leased, its not yours. And the actual owner, aka, the finance company or the leasing company, ironically given its a Range Rover, won't want you using it off road. And if they find evidence it has been, there will be financial repercussions of that down the line. If you actually did buy the thing outright, then, happy days! That's a video I would LOVE to see! Those new RR's are beasts! Not trying to be a tit, but I've been in that boat before and it was expensive!
Seeking rear articulation at the expense of springs falling out is not a good thing. You need to focus on measuring shock extended length vs spring length. Keep them contained - maximum articulation is not everything.
@@ALL_4_WHEELS The off-road version in the video has insufficient ground clearance. It shouldn't require modification to meet it's off-road target market. OK for gravel roads (are there any in the UK??? ). Not something that an Aussie would consider for our conditions. A bit of rain on an outback track would lead to mud choking the wheel arches in zero time at all.
We don’t really have anything too extreme around here in the uk if we do the anti gun brigade come out and close the trails or flatten them! Thanks for watching hope you enjoy the channel might not be as good as the trails you guys have but there are some good hidden tracks out there! 👍👍
Little tip for those with the old discos. Then you have 2 wheels spinning when flexed ect put her in low range and hold your foot on the brake. This will help send some power to the other wheels. Redneck traction control 👌
Having owned a 300 Tdi Disco and owning both a 'classic' Defender and now a new Defender it was interesting to see them working together. For the naysayers the new Defender is fantastic on and off road.
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Simon did a great job, Even with the new one's hi-tech aids there is still plenty of room/need for driver's skill to get the best out of the vehicle.
He’s going to start coming out in his freelander 2 with us now makes sense the defender is a very expensive car to repair if things go wrong..but really great to have it out with us!! Very capable 4x4! 👌🏼👌🏼
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Look forward to seeing the vids mate. I would love one (Defender) to come out with us tbh. It would make for a great video, a "20" (or newer) Defender, against our "02" Defender.
It did that whole lane with ease!! Bit bouncy near the end haha! Good little 4x4! 👌🏼 thanks for watching it’s a good lane to really test the vehicles! 🤘
Beautiful video, love spicy lane and those black mountain ones, that's where my family are from you know! Ad, I am still keen to join you guys in August if there's an option! Got the D2 ready to ride!
The new defender is a amazing vehicle and Simon (powerful uk) was a great driver a lot of people would be scared or put off going down there!! Was a great video did you see the big axel twisters it literally floated over them!!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS The new Defender and the Toyota 75 were once put up against each other in an off-road challenge. The 75 got stuck while the new Defender succeeded in passing the same obstacle almost effortlesly. I saw the axle twisters,it did it with such ease.
We was going to have a grenadier ( defender look alike come out with the new defender but didn’t come along in the end!! It’s a really good track that we found there guessing it’s going to be alot different in the winter! 👍👍
I think I'd get the Panda down it, but not up it. It would struggle the most with the obstacle at the 22:00 I think. Have you ever taken your Pinin up there?
Haha! Pretty tame to the terrain you guys have over there! Huge difference haha! When the anti fun brigade find them they like to close them off or flatten them so is nice to find some interesting trails around! Good selection of vehicles on this trip which 4x4 did you like?? Thanks for watching hope you enjoyed the vid 🤘🤘😀
@@ALL_4_WHEELS over here in England 😉. Classic Defender, always 👍. I live close to the Peak District, I don’t know for sure but I bet the miserable knitting, crocheting, summer fair tombola and cake selling type folk may have gotten a few closed 🤷
Haha sorry thought you was from Australia! You should come join us if you’ve got a 4x4! See you’ve got a scooby one the guys in our group has a Audi all road! Wonder how that would get on??…😉
@@ALL_4_WHEELS 🙃 Funny that you should say Australia though, I’m pretty sure Marty and Moog (mighty car mods) once said that the Forester suspension is a direct bolt on for the Impreza 🤔? Could be interesting, the AWD system is pretty amazing 👍
It was great to see the new defender up against the older model but you can’t beat an original landrover defender it’s proper agriculture and so good out the box! This is who our channel is good as we have a variety of different vehicles each time we go out! Thanks for watching enjoy the channel! 👍
I think he wanted to but he had a puncture on the way down and didn’t want to risk another so far from home..it’s a really good track this spicy lane isn’t it?😉👌🏼👌🏼
He may of been ok going up but it’s a lot tougher climb so he made a good choice to call it a day,the other vehicles did the climb back up pretty well even the little vitara did well!!
@@ALL_4_WHEELS my d2 is bog standard just a stage 1 map and exhaust really still on air no cdl im sure it would manage it but its my daily too dont want to wreck it haha
@@ALL_4_WHEELS Great news! Looking forward to it, hopefully can see some deep wading from the L322’s in there. Cheers from America. Always enjoying 👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
Water levels are pretty low at the moment here in the uk we need a good couple days of rain to to make the river crossings deeper again! 👌🏼👌🏼🤘 winter is the best time but stick with us I’m sure we might have a few river crossings planned soon!! 👌🏼👌🏼
I wonder what the proper Welsh unbastardised name for that lane is? Watched ‘PowerfulUK’s video on this trip and his tribulations with ripped sidewall.
It’s a great track isn’t it?.. Simon (powerfulUk) was going to come back up but after taking a puncture it was best not to tempt fate!! Enjoy the channel thanks for watching! 👍👍
Hi paul I’ve been laning in wales since 2009, The channel has only been running for 2 years never filmed the lanes back in the day it’s nice to share our adventures with you guys or people who are not able to get out or drive to experience the great outdoors! Hope you enjoyed the vids and the channel! 👌🏼👌🏼👍👍
@@ALL_4_WHEELS great vid I’m based in south east and go laning although not as exciting as wales I must say .wondering did the discos have lockers they seem to be struggling a bit .
The thing with spicy lane is it’s really narrow and tight bends so longer vehicles tend to get all hung up on the corners! Don’t think any of the discos had lockers just cdl there’s some great lanes around here! Join our Facebook group and Instagram you never know you maybe be able to join us on a trip??
Hey Jorge yeah there’s a lot of plastics on these vehicles now,he’s looking at getting some rock sliders made up to protect the sills I believe!! It’s great to see a new defender been out through its paces! Hope you enjoyed the vid! Thanks for watching! 👍👍
I did it well think the traction control was the best thing on it,when it had to reverse out the hole and back end went up..nice to see the tech vehicles against the older ones! Which was your favourite vehicle?? Thanks for watching hope you enjoy the channel! 👌🏼
