That was definitely hardest hit , thank God walked away no problem. Now figure out what's let of car. It's never easy when having good run and end up in wall . Sometimes get through and others get hit by everyone passing.
I'll never understand the mind of a dirt racer who would rather total a race car (and possibly hurt/kill someone) than lift. I feel bad for the other guys that got caught up in your mess.
@@jeffmill6683 Right, cause modulating the throttle in the turns, so you don't wreck, never happens. 🙄I wish the guy well winning this race and future races with a balled up race car. At less he can brag to his friends about how he didn't give an inch and his ego is intact. Stupid tactic.
In the corners yes. After all you steer off the right rear. I drove sprint cars until the money ran out. 9 seasons and 1 championship. What I'm talking about is on a straightway. Oh and by the way in 9 seasons I only wrecked twice.
@@henrylint3227 I was thinking the same as you at first. Then I watched it again and changed my mind. He may have thought the guy was going to stay low. He had no time to react anyway. The guys that were way back need to look ahead to stay out of crashes.

Yeah I think that is everybody's worst fear in an accident whether it's on the road on a track, in a car or on a motorcycle. The initial Rick is over with and then you're just hoping you don't get blasted by somebody that can't see you or isn't able to get out of the way or just isn't paying attention or some combination of all the above. Wow!

And that kids is why provided your not on fire you never remove any of your safety equipment until the safety crew creates a Barrier around you. Nasty lick glad your ok.
I think they should have to get an eye exam or something I wasn’t there so maybe were he was seating on track before he got hit but seems to me he was there long enough for the cars coming at him should have had time to do something rather then hit him.

I know those arms had got to be hurting unless you had a collapsible joint in two spots that shears and breaks at a certain amount of force. I been racing asphalt and dirt big cars since I was 11 and my hardest hit of my life was throttle got hung on huge half mile high bank paved track and I was leading guy behind didn't know it was hung he tried to get me lose coming off 4 with two to go and I hit outside wall wide open flying and then it bounced off and hit and jumped the inside pit wall till it stopped but I let go of steering wheel before the first wall I hit if I wouldn't have my arms would have been badly broken always let got of that steering wheel especially if your facing head on traffic cross your arms hold your belts and close your eyes and don't tense up is what I try to do and also it should be a natural instinct every time you spin hands off wheel when car is stopped like pushing clutch in during the spin so motor does not turn backwards. But hate to say it but you caused this whole wreck fyi if you would have lifted a hair and not hit the guy in front of you cuse y'all's bumpers got hooked split second this would have never happened. But these type of mods is my favorite to drive especially the big block ones they are heavy and rotate very hard up on the bars and got lots of torque and power off the corners idk if this is like a sportsman type class with 602 or 604 doesn't seem like big block hard to tell in video sometimes but if it is then video is making it look slower and quieter but you are flying though soight be a big block mod or a 604 or even a huge alcohol small block mod class. So glad you are ok though God bless you and that you was safe and not injured to bad. My worst wreck I told you about I broke my back at my L9 and between the extra disc I was born with which I didn't know until my wreck and that extra disk was my whole problem my whole life with extreme back paint and no specialist found it till days after my wreck in a MRI cuse the break exposed it. But I have only hit the wall or even totaled a racecar twicey whole life from age 11-30 and I stopped racing full time this year when I turned 30
Trying to, we have had a lot of things sideline us the last few weeks, we raced last Friday though, didn't go well, but video will be uploaded hopefully tonight.
Thats not fair things happen so fast and you might be paying attention to the car you're racing with that a stopped car on the front shoot can come as quiet a surprise in the big picture I'm sure the other competitors didn't want to hit him intentionally and destroy their equipment and there's a lot of various conditions that come in to play such as glare on your visor or not having the ability to see around the cars in front of you don't get me wrong but if you hit a stopped car it doesn't make you a steering wheel holder its just part of racing actually anytime you come to a stop on the track is the most dangerous thing for you and you can assume you're going to get hit and if you don't thank your lucky stars

And nobody can deny who caused it either. He just all the sudden broke his line and came up on you thinking he was clear but he lacked a few inches. Did anybody try to say you caused it? Glad you walked bro, that was a lick for sure. I hope everybody else was ok as well regardless of who’s fault it was.
@@ryanhiggs880 easy to pick it all apart in a video that doesnt show the speed of the car. 99% of wrecks would be avoided if everybody just lifted but thats why its called racing aint it
